Yesterday I received this e-mail, alerting me that a paper I had cited (twice) was retracted. The sender is called “ ”, and was designed and launched by an Oxford team including Ben Goldacre.
I think this is a really excellent idea, because plenty of retracted article are cited over and over again carelessly, and I also appreciate the fact that they ask for feedback, not only in terms of a yes/no about the knowledge of but also with the invitation to reply for a qualitative analysis.
(In my case, my mentions of the were both critical, and were referring to its retraction.)
