Today we celebrate a milestone — Happy 70th Birthday, John Suhr.

Since he first started building instruments in the early 1980's, John's mission has been simple: build the absolute best instruments possible and solve the problems guitarists have lived with since the guitar was invented.

That relentless pursuit of excellence, innovation, and craftsmanship has shaped every guitar, amplifier, pedal and pickup that bears the Suhr name. From groundbreaking ideas, to the smallest details that players may never see but always feel, John's dedication to making musicians' lives better has never wavered.

More than the guitars, John's passion for music, engineering, and helping players achieve their best continues to inspire all of us every day.
