Blubrake joined forces with urbike to pilot ABS on a fleet of e-cargo bikes in Brussels.
The major finding? Blubrake Anti-lock Braking System engaged every 2.4 km, avoiding dangerous situations and making streets safer for riders, pedestrians and other road users.

CyclingWeekly tested extensively Blubrake ABS and they deepened their knowledge of the technology. Their verdict?
"Speeding off my first impression of the ABS was… nothing. Rather like an ABS system in a car, most the time you don’t notice it kicking in, well, except that you’re still upright after some deliberately hard front-brake grabbing [...] despite my best (and frankly quite scary) efforts, I never got close to losing control"
Is ABS the future of braking technologies for e-bikes? According to them, yes: "Whatever your personal feelings on e-bikes and technologies such as these, it’s hard to ignore the benefit that they offer especially if the current e-bike boom continues apace."
