This video shows the operating sequence for performing an NCK and PLC general reset on a SINUMERIK 840D SL NCU7 during initial boot. ⚡🪛

Procedure:
• Set the NCK startup switch (SIM/NCK) to position “1”
• Set the PLC mode selector to position “3”
• Execute a POWER ON
• Wait until the STOP LED flashes and the SF LED is lit
• Briefly turn the PLC mode selector to “2”, then back to “3”
• Turn the NCK and PLC switches back to position “0”
• The system displays the number “6”
• The RUN LED lights up green continuously
