New RM15 now roasting at Ditchfield microtorréfacteur in Lac-Mégantic, Quebec 🇨🇦 another step in IMF’s growing presence across Canada.

One of our technicians was on site for the first start-up and stayed to train the team, so Ditchfield were up and running with confidence from the first roast. They also chose a custom colour for the machine, which looks great in their space.

Great to see more Canadian roasters joining the IMF family. Congratulations to everyone at Ditchfield on the new roaster.

Same green coffee, same plant but this is the pressure side.

After green coffee is processed it goes in the rotary valve the line switches from vacuum to positive pressure, and the air pushes the beans on to storage system.

That handover point is what lets a single compressor run the whole route: vacuum to draw the green in, pressure to send it on.

One machine instead of two units means less installed power, a smaller footprint in the plant, one point of maintenance.

All of it moving 15 tons/hour. Still dilute phase, still gentle.

Moving green coffee is a large part of what we do at , and it’s designed around coffee beans fluid dynamics from the very first step.

Here green coffee is drawn in pneumatic negative pressure, one of the solutions we can provide for green coffee handling.

This is how we move green coffee at this rate without breakages, the beans stay airborne in the flow, gently conveyed to destination.

NEW complete coffee processing plant up and running at Fortuna Enterprises, LLC in North Carolina, 🇺🇸 green coffee plant with automatic batching system and conveyance to RM120 and RM30 roasters, roasted coffee plant with automatic batching system and conveyance to grinding and packing line, all designed, built and installed by IMF.

One continuous flow, engineered around the customer’s product and space:

✅ A clean, easy start: green coffee loads at ground level into a pit-mounted intake with dust extract hood to the centralised dust filtering system, then an automatic batching doses and feeds each roaster on trough out the day. Minimal manual effort.

✅ Flexibility built in: an RM120 for full production and an RM30 for smaller and batches, both fully automatic with 1000 stored recipes. Any batch, any day.

✅ Seamless flow: automatic batching and pneumatic conveying carry the coffee from roasters to silos, grinder and packing line on its own. All day long.

✅ Consistency and repeatability: full digital process control keeps every roast the same. Batch after batch.

New roastery opening with RM60 complete, green coffee conveyance, destoner and chaff collector extractor, now up and running at Zireto Caffe in Suceava, 🇷🇴

After growing more than 100 shops, today Zireto opened its own roastery, taking control of quality from green bean to cup 🔥

Every part of the plant was chosen to protect that quality as they scale:

✅ A clean, precise start: green coffee loads in with minimal manual effort, and load cells allow precise dosing of each origin into the batch.

✅ Protection for the roast: the destoner removes stones and heavy foreign bodies after roasting, safeguarding the machines downstream for a higher quality in the cup.

✅ Cleaner and greener: the integrated afterburner burns off roasting emissions inside the machine.

✅ Consistency at scale: the RM60’s closed hot-air system delivers a clean, even and stable roast, with the same roast curve throughout the day.
