Removing the typical curvature at the ends of traditional bars is a hidden expense in many workshops.

For years, the market assumed that a 6.2-meter bar was the most efficient choice to reduce scrap. But is that really true, or just an industry habit?

We analyzed 31 of the most common cutting lengths used by bucket manufacturers. The result: in 77% of cases (24 out of 31), the 5.8-meter MVunix bar generates less waste than the traditional 6.2-meter length.

The thicker the wear-resistant steel, the more critical welding becomes in the workshop.

To preserve the toughness of MVunix bars and eliminate the risk of cracks, follow our technical guidelines: thorough surface cleaning, specific consumables (AWS A5.28), controlled preheating for thicknesses above 15 mm, and strictly slow cooling.
