La campagna di lancio REXUS/BEXUS è giunta al termine, ed è stata una delle sfide più importanti, impegnative e stimolanti per l'intero Team.

DREX in questo momento è in viaggio per tornare a Padova, dove verrà analizzato in ogni sua componente e verranno studiati i dati di volo contenuti nelle sue memorie.

Volevamo cogliere l'occasione per ringraziarvi tutti per l'appoggio e il supporto durante questi mesi di duro lavoro, siamo fieri di aver condiviso le emozioni di quest'esperienza con voi.

Ma questo non è un addio:
L'avventura di DREX è ancora lunga, e presto saremo in grado di comunicarvi i prossimi appuntamenti nei quali potrete vedere con i vostri occhi l’esperimento e conoscere di persona i membri del team.

The REXUS / BEXUS launch campaign has come to an end, and has been one of the most important and challenging adventure for the whole Team.
DREX is currently on it's way to Padua, where it will be analyzed in each component and the flight data stored in its memoirs will be studied.

We wanted to take the opportunity to thank you all for the support and support during these months of hard work, we are proud of sharing the emotions of this experience with you.

But this is not a farewell:
The DREX adventure is still long, and soon we will be able to convey the next appointments in which you can see the experiment with your eyes and know in person the team members.

DREX è tornato dal suo viaggio nella stratosfera, portando con se più di 9 ore di video, 4700 foto e 250.000 letture dai sensori.
Grazie all'ampio campo visuale della telecamera (185°) è possibile vedere anche il pallone sonda contrastare con il nero dello spazio.

DREX come back from its journey into the stratosphere, carrying with it more than 9 hours of video, 4700 photos and 250,000 sensors acquisitions.
Thanks to the large field of view of the camera (185°) you can also see the probe balloon against the pitch black space.

Le operazioni di recupero sono terminate e DREX è stato riportato alla base di ESRANGE ieri notte in elicottero. La struttura del riflettore, il case e il sistema elettrico sembrano essere intatti e non aver riportato danni all'impatto. Il team sta procedendo ad un'accurata ispezione del modulo e al salvataggio dei dati raccolti durante il volo.

DREX was taken back to ESRANGE base last night. The recovery procedures are now over. The reflector, the case and the electronics survived the impact with, apparently, no damages at all. The team is performing an accurate inspection of the module and is saving data collected during flight.
