For Siam Del Monte, quality starts with sorting.
As one of Thailand’s leading sweet corn processors, Siam Del Monte exports almost 99% of its production, with Japan as one of its key markets — where quality expectations are exceptionally high.
When insects, worms and other foreign materials made manual sweet corn kernel sorting increasingly demanding, Siam Del Monte looked for a smarter solution.
After years of testing different optical sorting technologies, they found the right fit with Raytec Vision’s Spray.
Today, Phonlapat Kosalwat, General Manager of Siam Del Monte, shares how the technology has helped them:
✔️ Reduce manual sorting from around 25 workers to 8
✔️ Achieve over 90% sorting performance
✔️ Remove insects, worms and other product defects
✔️ Improve efficiency while reducing sorting costs
And there’s more to come. With strong confidence in Raytec Vision and Tanamac, Siam Del Monte is looking forward to continuing the collaboration and working together on the next generation of sorting technology.
A customer partnership built on quality, trust and continuous innovation.
