This system is an automatic vertical buffer storage unit designed for the handling and temporary accumulation of panels coming from a production line.
The machine optimizes the production flow by creating a compensation area between different processing stages, preventing line stoppages and ensuring continuous operation.
Panels are picked up by a robotic arm and placed onto an integrated belt transfer conveyor. From here, the vertical buffer system starts the accumulation cycle, moving and storing the panels in an organized and controlled manner inside the structure.
When the next machine in the process, in this case the drilling machine, becomes available again, the robot automatically retrieves the panels from the buffer and feeds them back into the production flow.
