My Friends; I would call you sailors and sailorettes but I feel for a minute, I have to speak to the people, without the hats, without any kutte. There was some discussions lately about someone harassing ladies. I am in a point of my life, on which I can't no longer accept harassment, seriously, I am so enraged, I fear what would happen to the next man that even try to poke me. In the last few years, women felt finally free to talk, because we were going to be backed up, not considered a slt anymore. It is a bit of a relief...we are listened, finally (hopefully...still...I don't fully trust the system) . This is a serious issue that should have us all reflect, instead of calling out for a name to electrocute. I would love, for this, to be a beginning of a more open discussion, and an occasion, for the guys, to reflect. Love you, Vi: President of Appletown

F*CK CANCER:
Our dear friend and President of TJ Manchester Kathy Rocker was earlier this year diagnosed with an inoperable secondary cancer. She has always walked the extra mile to help others, we would like to do something in return!

We have received a VERY generous donation from Chuck/The TJ store which surely won’t disappoint. We will be selling raffle tickets on the upcoming boat trip as well as online (and hopefully during the res-erection party too). They are £1 each and all the money will go to charity or Kathy to alleviate some of the stress and discomfort she goes through.

Get as many tickets as you like, it’s for a good cause! But bare in mind if you are from abroad you’ll need to pay postage for the prize if you win. Paypal (preferable) or UK account transfers please (PM us for the details). If purchasing online we will send you your raffle numbers. Deadline for online purchases is 11 pm (UK time) 29th.

The winner will be drawn on the 30th.

IMPORTANT: We prefer online purchases regardless if we will sell tickets during the parties as we then don’t have to hold on to the money on the day.

February 2018, twenty years after Apocalypse Dudes, on the same release date, we are happy to deliver our fans a brand new Turbonegro album - our first since a record from 2012 that we can’t really say the title of right now. It’s a batch of songs coming from the joy of being a rock machine of six brothers and sisters, with the greatest fans, and our life long dedication to rock’n’roll music as an art form.
First song being shared is the title track "RockNRoll Machine" - a song perfectly hitting the fine line between clever and stupid, without ever turning lukewarm. Many great things have been said of Malcolm Young over the last days, and this song could be considered a coincidental tribute from us. Everyone has been intrigued and frightened by all the talk about A.I. and robotification of society lately, so we wanted to bring that tech-talk into boogie rock territory and stop thinking so much about tomorrow. The Rock and Roll Machine has all the traits you’ll find a in a classic rocker: He keeps going all night, telling Tchaikovsky the news, but is still quite cheap and affordable, and, unfortunately a bit unpredictable (according to some reviewers), quickly becoming passé.
