🌟 Il nostro gruppo CPFR protagonista al 13° Congresso Nazionale AIFM!
Grande soddisfazione per la partecipazione del team di Radioterapia/Fisica Medica AOUP – Università di Pisa e del Centro Pisano FLASH Radiotherapy (CPFR ) al 13° Congresso Nazionale dell’Associazione Italiana di Fisica Medica (AIFM), tenutosi a Verona.
💡 Dr. Fabio Di Martino è intervenuto con una relazione a invito dal titolo“FLASH and mini-beam effects: open issues, clinical perspectives and possible synergies”,
offrendo una panoramica sulle prospettive cliniche e radiobiologiche della radioterapia ultra-rapida e dei fasci mini-beam.
✨ Dr.ssa Noemi Giannini ha presentato “FLASH Radiotherapy and Chicken Embryo Development: Evaluating its Protective Potential”,
uno studio preclinico che esplora gli effetti protettivi della radioterapia FLASH sullo sviluppo embrionale.
✨ Dr.ssa Taiusha Fuentes ha illustrato “Conventional vs Ultra-High Dose Rate Radiation: A Comparative Analysis of Skin Toxicity Effects”,
un’analisi comparativa degli effetti cutanei tra irradiazioni convenzionali e ultra-high dose rate.

Great satisfaction for the participation of the Radiation Oncology / Medical Physics team of AOUP – University of Pisa and the Pisan Center for FLASH Radiotherapy (CPFR ) at the 13th National Congress of the Italian Association of Medical Physics (AIFM), held in Verona.
💡 Dr. Fabio Di Martino delivered an invited lecture entitled

offering a comprehensive overview of the clinical and radiobiological perspectives of ultra-high dose-rate radiotherapy and mini-beam irradiation.
