✨ 𝗜𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗱-𝟭𝟵𝟴𝟬𝘀, 𝗟𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.
During a trade show in Tokyo, our team came across 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿, a material that combined 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.
⚙️ At the time, it was something entirely new for the textile industry. For Lamiflex, however, it quickly became 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 the company had been facing for years. Lamiflex began developing a new generation of rapier tapes, leveraging carbon fiber to achieve levels of performance that had previously been difficult to imagine.
📈 Within just a few years, 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗮𝗽𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱, accounting for nearly 70% of total market demand.
🚀 Looking back today, that discovery was much more than the introduction of a new material. 𝗜𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘅, one that would open the door to decades of innovation and growth.
