Building challenges are not new to us. There are times however when one has to call on every single ounce of ingenuity, experience and creativity. This walk in cupboard - not even 90cm wide - needs to become a practical second bathroom.

Did I mention that the roof slopes too? That it is on the third floor of an apartment block in the historic town centre? That we are constricted by condominium rules, century old building plumbing and very, very difficult neighbours?

Allora....challenge accepted! Let the fun begin!

"Rejuvenation of a Stately Lady" is our project brief. Historic details will be carefully restored or in some cases simply protected for the future, whilst modernizing for comfortable living. We are so keenly aware of the privilege to be able to work on this special piece of Italian heritage, to help preserve it for those who come after us.

Our project management skills will be tested to the maximum in multiple ways:

* We are on the third floor of an apartment building with elderly residents to which the only access is via the staircase they also use.
* We are in the the historical centre where restricted vehicle access regulations apply.
* Every reconstruction move that we make will need to comply with the additional regulations which come into play when you are dealing with historic buildings.
