Meet our guy at Seawork International!

Sietse Nap joined Heila Cranes Nederland as Sales Manager on 1 June this year. He is focussing on the expansion of sales activities in northwestern Europe.

Sietse is an international sales professional with strong analytical and communication skills and extensive experience in building and maintaining relationships.

After finishing his education, he held various commercial positions, where he was responsible for the international sales of machines and managed and coordinated ports and maritime projects throughout Central Europe. This sparked his interest in the maritime sector, and Heila was not an unfamiliar name to him.

“I was already acquainted with Heila through my previous positions. Heila is a strong and ambitious company with a great product and an excellent reputation in the market. When the opportunity came along, I took the step without hesitation. The connection was mutual, and I took on the role of Sales Manager at Heila Cranes Nederland.
My primary focus will initially be on developing sales plans with colleagues. I also want to learn everything I can about cranes and our customers, starting with those in the Netherlands. I look forward to meeting them soon.
Right now, I am eager to meet our customers and potential customers in Southampton next week.

It’s that time of year again: 11 - 13 June mark the latest edition of Seawork International in Southampton!

We always enjoy meeting customers and interested parties at our shared stand with our partner, Brimmond. We will be at our usual spot again this year: outside on the quay with a great view of the water. Stop by for some refreshments; we have plenty to talk about, but we are even more interested in anything you may want to ask us. Which crane is best suited for your vessel, for example? Set up for the FAT of a knuckle-telescopic boom crane

We’ve just completed another FAT on one of our cranes, specifically, an HLRM 400/3S, our best-selling foldable crane. All preparations were made for the overload test, which proceeded smoothly and the crane passed its FAT with flying colours.

The HLRM 200/18-4SL crane recently passed its factory acceptance test (FAT) with flying colours. We put it through its paces on our site in Poviglio, after which it was swiftly transported to the dock where the yacht was moored. This crane makes light work of hoisting all sorts of toys on and off the client’s yacht!

The HLRM 200/18-4SL has been installed and commissioned on the yacht in accordance with all necessary procedures. An essential part of the process involves thoroughly testing the crane’s capacity and functionality, as well as the proper functionality of all safety devices and demonstration of exceeding crane performances. Our ultimate goal is complete customer satisfaction, and our service technicians are only truly content once we have achieved that.

Things are getting busy here in Poviglio!

We’ve got cranes lining up for factory acceptance testing! Next up is our most popular crane, an HLRM 440-4SL. This crane—our pride and joy—packs a punch while remaining compact and surprisingly lightweight for its size.

The customer travelled all the way from the US to attend the FAT. The crane is set up outside our workshop, where we are putting it through its paces to ensure it meets the specifications promised to the customer. We've hooked on a whopping 50 tonnes for testing, and this beast doesn’t even flinch at its maximum reach.
The customer is happy, and so are we.

The next crane—this one featuring a fresh white paint job at another customer’s request—is already ready for its FAT.

"Bring it on!"

It is a clear statement by Diane van den Herik, who joined Heila Nederland as the new financial manager on 1 March. She is used to getting things done, has great organisational skills, and loves crunching numbers.

After an incredibly brief onboarding period she was thrown into the deep end and it turns out, she's a great swimmer. With the help of the rest of the team, she is quick to emphasise.

Diane is a tough cookie who strongly believes that actions speak louder than words. In the past few weeks, she has mastered the financial system. The process is running smoothly and she is now also taking on certain HR tasks. She's on fire!

A fresh coat of paint and ready for the FAT in Poviglio

The HLRM 200/18-4SL is looking fantastic! We always take pride in the finishing touches on our cranes and this model destined for the yachting sector is extra special. We believe every beautiful yacht deserves an equally stunning crane and this one is perfect.

The FAT (factory acceptance test) went smoothly and the crane ticks off all the boxes for our customer's needs. It will soon be aboard a yacht, ready to lift everything from recreational submarines to helicopters, speedboats and even a folding-wing aircraft!

With its radio remote controls and impressive lifting capacities of over 8,000 kg at 18 metres outreach and up to 20,000 kg at 8.5 metres the HLRM 200/18-4SL makes handling these 'toys' a breeze.

Just look at them! These three cranes were tested simultaneously at our workshop in Poviglio. It is always nice to see a row of HLRM knuckle boom cranes; these indestructible offshore workhorses are our pride. We offer the HLRM 25 crane up to the HLRM 1000 size, and all capacities in between.
