Over the past few months, we included a simple invitation with every and + delivery:

Every setup has an Okolab solution ✔️

We’re glad to share the latest BL3 revision for Evident Microscopy and Nikon Microscope Solutions setups, now featuring a new sliding removable base panel designed to provide faster and easier access to the CrestOptics X-Light V3 spinning disk when needed.

Previously removable through magnets and screws, the panel can now simply slide open — making access to the disks even more convenient while improving usability without compromising environmental control.

A small design refinement shaped by real microscopy workflows and everyday user experience. 🔬

Kudos to Prof. Yuhui Zhang’s team at Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Dr. Kseniya Korobchevskaya at University of Oxford for capturing high-resolution images of microtubules, nuclei, mitochondrial cristae, and actin network in RBL cells using 2D/3D/TIRF-SIM in 's MI-SIM—under fully controlled environmental conditions with incubators.

𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗕𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝟯 𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛𝗡𝗢𝗟𝗢𝗚𝗬 𝗜𝗦 𝗔 𝗡𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬

Reproducibility in life science is not a new topic.
And yet, it remains an open challenge.

Across the scientific community, multiple studies highlight the same issue: even when protocols are clearly defined, results are not always reproducible.

Leading journals have set clear expectations: experiments should be described in detail, conditions must be controlled, and results should be replicable.

But there is still a gap — between what is written in the protocol and what actually happens during the experiment.

In live cell imaging, even tiny fluctuations in temperature, humidity or CO₂ can influence cell behavior and outcomes.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 “𝘀𝗲𝘁” 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲.
Bridging this gap requires more than good protocols.

Last week at , we tried something simple.

We asked people:

We’ve heard many of these thoughts over the years, in conversations, at the booth, in labs.
This time, we put them on paper.

“Reliable & stable. Top notch.”
"People want better incubation equipment."
“Live imaging experiments are reproducible.”
“Simple, powerful, easy to use.”

Real feedback, written in a few seconds, right there at the booth.

Reading these words was a real boost for us — and something we’re truly grateful for.
It also reminds us to keep raising the bar, every day.

As a small thank you, we shared something to take home — a mOkoLab ☕
just a simple object, but one that brings a moment of pause, warmth, maybe a good coffee back in the lab.

We enjoyed this so much that we decided to keep it going.
