We are partner of the new project ZEPHYRUS - Zero Emissions Pathway through a holistic approach to climate change mitigation, Urban regeneration and Sustainable development - Research & Innovation Action, which is the follow-up of the TECH4YOU and MUSA and ECOSISTER HUB.
Our delegation participated on 17-18 September to the Kick-off Meeting held in Lamezia Terme together with the other CNR institutes and Universities (UNICAL, UNIRC, UMG, UNIBAS).

A new molecular simulation study exploring how polymer surface polarity controls ion adsorption and interfacial structuring in LiCl solutions is hot off the press. The results provide new molecular-level insights for the development of more robust membranes for lithium recovery and high-salinity separations.

We participated to the 2nd edition of ICSET2026 conference held in Palermo (Sicily, Italy) between August 31 – September 4, 2026. Elisa Avruscio and Giuseppe Barbieri delivered two oral talks on dimethyl-ether production by membrane reactors; Adele Brunetti organised and chaired a special session dedicated to GRIPHUS project (MERANET) and delivered a keynote talk on membrane gas separation for syngas upgrading; Adolfo Iulianelli organised and moderated a round-table on green energy, and delivered an invited talk on membrane engineering impact in H2 technologies, organising further a dedicated special issue on Fuel Processing Technology journal.
