Enrico Aureli, President of Scm Group, has been appointed Vice President of Confindustria Emilia-Romagna by President Riccardo Fava.

In his new role, he will oversee key strategic areas for the region's industrial development, including advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence and digital technologies, aerospace and the space economy, marine industries, and automotive.

Congratulations to Enrico on this prestigious appointment.

Si è concluso con grande partecipazione il 2° Memorial Alberto Fiorani 🏆

Anche l'edizione 2026 ha confermato il successo di un'iniziativa che va oltre la competizione, creando occasioni di incontro, condivisione e divertimento tra colleghe e colleghi. Le finali di beach volley e beach tennis, disputate il 22 luglio al Centro Villa-Ge di Villa Verucchio, hanno chiuso un percorso vissuto con entusiasmo, fair play e spirito di squadra. Al termine del torneo, le squadre vincitrici sono state premiate dal Direttore della Divisione Legno, Pietro Gheller, mentre tutti i partecipanti hanno ricevuto una medaglia come riconoscimento per l'impegno e la passione dimostrati.

Anche nel 2026 si è concluso il corso aziendale di yoga promosso da Scm Group 🧘

Un’iniziativa dedicata ai collaboratori che continua a crescere, coinvolgendo sempre più persone: circa 70 partecipanti tra gennaio e aprile nelle sedi di Rimini e Villa Verucchio.
L’attività, aperta a tutti, è stata pensata per offrire una pausa dalla routine, ritrovare equilibrio e condividere momenti di benessere e socialità tra colleghi. La partecipazione in costante aumento ha portato il totale delle adesioni a quasi 200 nelle ultime tre edizioni, rendendo necessario ampliare il programma rispetto alle previsioni iniziali. Questo progetto si conferma parte integrante dell’impegno di Scm Group per la promozione del benessere delle persone e della qualità della vita in azienda.

May was a very busy month for Scm Group: we had the pleasure of taking part in several meetings, seminars, and career days together with students from leading Italian universities.

These initiatives represented an important opportunity to share insights, discuss key topics related to the industrial sector, and engage with talented young people interested in learning more about our company, our values, and the professional development opportunities within our Group.

Here are some of the events that made this month especially engaging and meaningful:
📍 Seminar in Forlì with Mechanical Engineering students from the University of Bologna, focused on production processes and manufacturing systems
📍 Seminar at the Politecnico di Milano with Industrial Engineering students, dedicated to Lean Operations Management topics
📍 Seminar at the University of Padua – Vicenza campus – with Mechatronics Engineering students, focused on the challenges and opportunities of industrial automation
📍 Career Day at the University of Ferrara

A big thank you to all the students, professors, and professionals who took part and helped foster dialogue and lay the foundations for new opportunities within our Group!

Con il fischio d’inizio prende il via il 2° Memorial Alberto Fiorani 💪

È partita la nuova edizione del torneo aziendale dedicato ai collaboratori Scm Group, una serie di appuntamenti in cui sport, energia e spirito di squadra diventano occasione di incontro e condivisione. Circa 150 partecipanti, suddivisi in 20 squadre, si sfideranno fino a fine luglio sui campi del Villa-Ge Center di Villa Verucchio nei tornei di beach volley e beach tennis. Le prime partite hanno subito restituito l’immagine di un evento vivace e coinvolgente. Questo progetto rappresenta un’occasione per rafforzare relazioni, creare nuove connessioni tra colleghi e promuovere il benessere psico-fisico attraverso esperienze positive al di fuori dell’ambiente di lavoro.

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mechanical Engineering students from the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna to our Rimini Headquarters for a guided tour of the company. 🏢

The students had the opportunity to see firsthand the production processes, technologies, and organization involved in our daily work, interacting directly with the technical team and exploring concrete applications related to their studies.
This experience allowed academia and industry to interact directly, strengthening the connection between education and production.

🚀 Innovation Award: the first quarter of 2026 confirms the strong drive for innovation across Scm Group.

Around ten projects have been recognised in the latest edition of the Innovation Award dedicated to the first quarter of 2026: an initiative that celebrates ideas, applied research and technological development across several of the Group’s strategic business areas.

From SCM edgebanding solutions to machining centres and wood construction systems, from joinery machinery to software and digital services, all the way to CMS technologies for glass, marble, composites and plastics, the winning projects demonstrate an ongoing commitment to innovation, manufacturing efficiency and new industrial applications.

The Innovation Award continues to foster a corporate culture focused on continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and the development of increasingly advanced solutions for the Group’s target markets.
