Last week at Living Lab 01 (Poggio Torriana, Italy), we carried out a new round of multidomain comfort testing.
“Elio”, our thermal manikin, took the front seat near the Closed Cavity Façade to quantify local thermal conditions under real operating configurations. By combining façade settings, environmental monitoring, and segmental heat-loss measurements, we are investigating how advanced façade systems influence actual indoor comfort at occupant level.
The measurements support the MEZeroE project and contribute to ongoing research on comparative thermal comfort between façade typologies.
At MEZeroE, this is exactly what we aim to enable: understanding real performance when measured under real conditions.
