“ I joined Bausano on December, 2022, through an agency. I was very young and started from zero: I knew nothing about mechanics, and on my first day I did not even know what a caliber was. Today, I work in the assembly department, mainly on cutters and cooling tanks.
Everyone helped me learn and build my skills step by step and, over time, I have built my own working method and routine. I like following a precise process, because it allows me to stay focused and pick up exactly where I left off, even when I need to stop and help a colleague. ”

In agricultural pipe extrusion, screw design is a process-critical factor.

For this single-screw solution, Bausano engineered the screw profile according to the “salt and pepper” method, specifically developed to optimize carbon black dispersion in polyethylene pipes.

By combining rheological analysis with calibrated geometry — pitch, channel depth and mixing zones — the system ensures homogeneous melt quality, stable plastification and consistent pigment distribution.
