🏭 𝐁𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐢𝐥: 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭
Dear partners and customers,
the evolving crisis in the Middle East has moved beyond the scope of normal business management, fundamentally altering the economic foundations of our current supply relationship.
As producers, we are on the front lines of these challenges and we want to provide full transparency on the steps we are taking to ensure continuity and quality.
What we are witnessing today is a complex industrial chain reaction:
1. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞: regarding 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐬 (𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐈), prices are rising as refineries find it more profitable to prioritize diesel production over base oils, especially in the current market. For 𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐬 (𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐈𝐈𝐈), the price surge is driven by recent attacks on key refineries, which have severely restricted global output. Simultaneously, 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 are seeing significant price hikes: production is concentrated among a few global players who, like everyone else, are facing material shortages and logistical delays.
2. 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: the high energy intensity of steel and plastic production, combined with stricter environmental mandates on recycled materials, has destabilized the supply chain. Consequently, the materials needed to protect and transport our products, from packaging plastics to steel drums, have also seen significant price fluctuations.
3. 𝐄𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬: the price increases analyzed above impact the entire supply chain. This creates a 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 that drives up energy costs and transportation rates across the board. This is primarily fueled by geopolitical instability in key regions, which increases fuel surcharges and forces more expensive, indirect shipping routes.

Despite the market temptation to compromise on formulations to cut costs, our production philosophy remains unchanged:
• 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲: we continue to select only the best base oils and additive packages. We have not altered our standards to offset material shortages, because engine protection is non-negotiable.
• 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: we are working in advance on procurement to mitigate the impact of price increases and, above all, to ensure that products are always available on your shelves.
• 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭: being a manufacturer means standing by your side, providing clear answers in a time of global uncertainty.
𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞: to provide lubricants that guarantee durability and performance, now more than ever.
