After the success of Lyra, we are proud to once again support the Skyward Experimental Rocketry team in their latest achievement: Orion, the fifth rocket of the Constellations Program, awarded for Best Design at EuroC 2025.

A hybrid-powered experimental sounding rocket, entirely developed by the student team — a perfect example of how research, creativity, and innovation can come together to reach new heights.

On September 16th, 2025, during the EuroC competition, Orion soared into the sky, reaching an apogee of 2,990.6 meters, with less than ten meters of deviation from its target.
An extraordinary result, born from ingenuity, determination, and vision.

Like its predecessors Gemini and Lyra, Orion features a dual-stage recovery system, allowing for a safe and precise landing — a masterpiece of design and collaboration.
