Summer changes the way we experience architecture.

At Hotel Santavenere in Maratea, outdoor spaces become destinations in their own right, designed to be enjoyed long after sunset. Terraces overlooking the sea, garden paths and open-air lounges are connected by a lighting scheme that naturally accompanies every moment of the evening.

The project by Light Company demonstrates how light can extend the life of a space, creating continuity between architecture and landscape while enhancing the pleasure of being outdoors.

Integrated into the landscape, the lighting defines the pathways through a sequence of precise luminous points that accompany movement while preserving the natural character of the surroundings.

Integrated into the architecture with absolute precision, Rocchetto In & Out plays a key role in defining this atmosphere.The fully orientable trimless fixture disappears seamlessly into the ceiling, leaving space only for light itself. Its directional flexibility allows illumination to adapt naturally to different functions and moments of the day, highlighting textures, creating depth and accompanying the perception of the space with continuity and balance.

Villa Norma is a residential project where lighting is conceived as an architectural element, seamlessly integrated into the space to enhance proportions, materials and everyday living. Brillo Castello Magnum, our newest product presented at MDW26, represents an evolution in scale. This indoor suspension chandelier extends the original design into a more architectural and scenographic dimension.

Glass becomes a defining element of this evolution: sandblasted cylindrical diffusers soften and layer the light, while transparent glass cups at the ends enhance depth, reflections and visual lightness.

Curved, water-cut aluminum arms unfold across staggered levels, generating a wide and harmonious three-dimensional geometry.
104 high-CRI LED sources (208W) deliver a soft, uniform and enveloping glow.

A balance of technical precision and expressive materiality, where light and transparency shape the atmosphere.

MDW26 is about to begin, and we will be there with a new concept: Glow – Light in Transparency.

The project explores Qu’s design approach to light, where transparency becomes the core material, a tangible presence, allowing natural light to pass through during the day, and revealing itself at night as the source of illumination.

A continuous dialogue between presence and absence, where light defines space without ever enclosing it.
