SIMIC, together with Zanon Research & Innovation, will take part in the International Particle Accelerator Conference (IPAC’26), reinforcing its commitment to advanced scientific infrastructure and high-performance engineering.

From 𝟏𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝟐𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐲, the companies will be present at the IPAC industrial exhibition (Booth 19), engaging with leading research institutes, laboratories, and technology partners from across the global accelerator community.

This participation marks an important opportunity to showcase SIMIC & Zanon’s capabilities in delivering 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐱, 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, and to strengthen collaborations within the international accelerator ecosystem.

𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆: 𝗭𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗻 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗜𝗝𝗖𝗟𝗮𝗯’𝘀 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗦𝗔𝗦 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁!

Zanon Research & Innovation is proud to announce the newly signed contract: IJCLab for the European iSAS Project. This project is dedicated to the development of energy-efficient accelerator technologies. Its main objective is to design, prototype, and validate innovative, high-impact solutions that significantly reduce energy consumption in Superconducting Radio Frequency (SRF) accelerators. All this in order to maintain the same performance levels, even though energy consumption is reduced.

Throughout this project, Zanon will be responsible for the fabrication of four 800 MHz SRF cavities. These will be integrated into the cryomodule prototype.

Zanon Research & Innovation is honored to be part of this cutting-edge research, which represents an important step towards the improvement of energy sustainability of advanced accelerator infrastructures. We are truly excited to see what is to come with this project!

Zanon Research & Innovation is pleased to have signed a new contract with Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste (https://www.elettra.eu) for the fabrication of 1 UHV copper chamber for the superconducting magnets which will be installed in the new storage ring of Elettra 2.0 project.

Elettra 2.0 (https://www.elettra.eu/lightsources/elettra-2-0/elettra-2-0.html) is an upgrade of the existing Elettra synchrotron and it is designed to significantly enhance the brilliance and the coherence of the X-ray source, surpassing the capabilities of the current facility. As a fourth-generation storage-ring based X-ray source, Elettra 2.0 leverages cutting-edge advancements in accelerator technologies.
