We are proud to contribute to the 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗨𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 (𝗔𝗟𝗦-𝗨) project at Berkeley Lab by manufacturing 𝟮𝟳 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮-𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝘃𝗮𝗰𝘂𝘂𝗺 𝗖𝘂𝗖𝗿𝗭𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 for one of the world's most advanced synchrotron light sources.

Today, we are pleased to share an important milestone: the mechanical manufacturing of all vacuum chambers has been successfully completed.

This significant achievement marks another step forward in the realization of the Advanced Light Source Upgrade, paving the way for even greater brightness and performance.

Behind every milestone are the people, expertise, and precision that make it possible. That's why we can confidently say that the next update is already on the horizon.

𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚

We were delighted to welcome Professor Cristian Pira and the students of the University of Padua (UniPD) as part of the course “Superconductive Materials.” The visit included a dedicated lecture and an opportunity to explore the industrial aspects of superconducting radio-frequency (SRF) cavity production.

This initiative provided students with valuable insight into the technological challenges, objectives, and unique requirements involved in manufacturing advanced SRF cavities. Bridging academic knowledge with real-world industrial experience is essential for preparing future specialists and helping them better understand potential career paths in high-technology sectors.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to Professor Cristian Pira for giving us the opportunity to contribute to this educational journey and to share our expertise with the next generation of engineers and researchers.

SIMIC, together with Zanon Research & Innovation, will take part in the International Particle Accelerator Conference (IPAC’26), reinforcing its commitment to advanced scientific infrastructure and high-performance engineering.

From 𝟏𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝟐𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐲, the companies will be present at the IPAC industrial exhibition (Booth 19), engaging with leading research institutes, laboratories, and technology partners from across the global accelerator community.

This participation marks an important opportunity to showcase SIMIC & Zanon’s capabilities in delivering 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐱, 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, and to strengthen collaborations within the international accelerator ecosystem.
