The stainless steel precision strip sector is a particularly important segment due to the high-tech content of the product. In the course of 2008 Arinox set up new 1270-mm wide production lines composed of a 20-hi rolling mill, a BA annealing plant equipped with an in-line levelling plant, cutting and packing lines. Arinox, the only Italian producer in the precision strip sector, employs a workforce of over 200 working 21 shifts weekly in a continuous cycle, with a production capacity of over 50,000 tonnes per year. Arinox currently exports over 70% of its output, mainly to Europe but also to America and the Far and Middle East.
