Fire safety isn’t seasonal. But every summer reminds us why it matters.

As temperatures rise, wildfires become more frequent, and building regulations grow increasingly stringent, material selection plays a crucial role in designing safer buildings and façades without compromising design or performance.

ForMe Design aluminum systems are engineered to meet demanding technical and safety standards and have achieved certifications in accordance with key European and U.S. requirements for fire performance.

In the United States, the material is classified as noncombustible according to ASTM E136. In Europe, the systems achieve an A2-s2 reaction-to-fire classification according to EN 13501-1, demonstrating a very limited contribution to fire and performance suited to the demands of contemporary architecture.

Because architectural freedom in façade design should go hand in hand with durability, performance, and safety.

A landmark project, a new architectural identity.

For the redevelopment of Turin’s former Enel Building, Studio Pession Associato chose ForMe Design Battens Light systems to reinterpret the interiors of this iconic 1970s building and transform it into Eblò: a contemporary space for work, collaboration, and innovation.

Used for architectural ceilings and aluminum partition walls, Battens Light creates rhythm, visual continuity, and a seamless dialogue between materials, spaces, and the building’s original character.

A project where architectural vision and material design come together to give new life to one of Turin’s most significant buildings.

Un progetto simbolo, una nuova identità architettonica.

Per la riqualificazione dell’ex Palazzo Enel di Torino, lo Studio Pession Associato ha scelto i sistemi Battens Light di ForMe Design per reinterpretare gli interni di questo iconico edificio degli anni ’70 e trasformarlo in Eblò: uno spazio contemporaneo dedicato al lavoro, alla collaborazione e all’innovazione.

Utilizzato per controsoffitti architettonici e pareti divisorie in alluminio, Battens Light crea ritmo, continuità visiva e un dialogo armonico tra materiali, spazi e carattere originario dell’edificio.

Un progetto in cui visione architettonica e design dei materiali si incontrano per dare nuova vita a uno degli edifici più significativi di Torino.

Skin Battens Light shape the façade with precise vertical lines, enhancing the purity of the white surfaces and guiding the perception of depth and proportion. Light and shadow move across the aluminium skin, turning the elevation into a calibrated play of texture and geometry.

From façade to entrance, the design reads as a continuous architectural gesture, where every element belongs to the same coherent language and the experience unfolds without interruption.
