Our first workshop with The Whale: last autumn, the team behind this spectacular project came to visit us in Turin. It was still early days, but we could already sense the impact this knowledge and experience centre would come to have.

Since then, those first conversations have grown into something much bigger. Today, we’re proud to be working on two permanent installations for what will be one of the most anticipated openings of 2027 (we’re certainly counting the days).

While we’re now fully immersed in bringing our part of the project to life, it’s good to remember how it all started: with a meeting of minds, ideas and creativity, surrounded by the Alps.

Sometimes the laws of physics can feel more like an invitation than a limit: a starting point for something extraordinary.

A sphere levitating mid-air. Electromagnetic fields working with light, motion and interaction. Time, standing still, electrified with the promise of celebration.

From real world installations to paper art explorations, we offer another glimpse at the kind of projects and engineering we like best. The kind that makes you wonder “how is that even possible?”.

As today’s solar eclipse draws our eyes to the sky, we’re looking back at a series of installations inspired by our fascination with the cosmos.

From custom circular LED screens recalling celestial bodies to Nebulae, our computer-vision-driven particle system, the installations explored the relationship between nature and intervention, order and chaos.

Above all, they invited people to interact, and explore — after all, who wouldn’t like to play with cosmic particles?

As the summer holidays are approaching, we're looking back at one of our favorite stops from this year: the Exploratorium in San Francisco.

A few hours surrounded by light, motion, perception, sound, and hands-on experiments was enough to bring out everyone's inner eight-year-old.

The Exploratorium is a reminder that some of our most memorable experiences spark curiosity and play, not just knowledge. They invite us to explore, question, and see familiar things in a new way.

A good dose of wonder before our next adventure.

Have a good eye for visual storytelling and a knack for punchy writing? Then this one’s for you.

We’re looking for a curious Communications & Content Intern to help us tell the stories behind our kinetic installations.

From social media and newsletters to interviews, articles and behind-the-scenes content, you’ll work across the entire communication process, turning complex engineering into clear, engaging narratives that connect with people.

Sound like a good fit? Find the full role and application form at the link in bio.
