The origin of Idest activities is to be found in the local tradition of industrial engineering, which has developed to support the construction of facilities for the automotive sector and for other kind of manufacturing industries. The relationship with this territory is strong, since all the technical and non-technical members of our staff were educated in its best athenaeums. Moreover, we mainta
in strong professional and scientific connections with the internationally acknowledged Polytechnic University of Turin. Idest main objective is to actively collaborate with its clients by providing efficient and cutting-edge solutions, so as to achieve the best results. For this very reason Idest keeps investing substantial resources in innovation and scientific training of its technical personnel (BIM; virtual reality applied to design). During its process of development and growth Idest has quickly entered the LATAM and EMEA markets, and established two branch companies in Serbia (Kragujevac) and Brazil (Belo Horizonte). In time Idest has become one of the leading Italian engineering firms, with about 120 employees and collaborators worldwide and a 10 million euros turnover in 2014. In 2015 a group of industrial investors acquired the entirety of company shares, with the aim of integrating Idest skills in MEP engineering with their industrial and productive know-how.
