We recently asked where else you think solar could belong. Our team has one more answer: indoors. 💡

Think about public spaces filled with artificial light almost around the clock airports, hospitals, offices, metro stations. The list goes on.

Being public spaces, we wanted to take it a step further: what if indoor solar surfaces could also help make those spaces healthier?

That's exactly what we created through our collaboration with and .

combines Ribes Tech's energy-harvesting solar technology with our aesthetic surface solution creating an indoor surface that generates energy from artificial light, while letting walls and surfaces be visually customized.

The coating also incorporates 's solution, which helps reduce bacteria and, under the right conditions, can even help purify the air taking Clean Light's potential beyond energy generation alone.

When you think of a solar panel, what's the first thing you picture? 🤔
For most people, it's still a black or blue panel sitting on a rooftop. We're working to expand that picture.

What if solar could become part of a building's design?
A company's branding?
An e-bike charging station?
An indoor surface that cleans the air?
Or something nobody has imagined yet?

That's what pushing boundaries means to us not just new technology, but new places for solar to exist. ☀️

What were you up to this ? ☀️

Our team took some well-earned time to rest, recharge, and enjoy the summer. But we also used the moment to reconnect with our roots and give something back to our local community.
This year we proudly sponsored the Festa dell'Assunta e di San Rocco in San Francesco al Campo, our CEO's hometown, and the place where it all started for us. 🙌

A huge thank you to the volunteers who, year after year, pour their time and energy into making these celebrations happen. Without them, none of it would be possible.

We think globally, but we never forget where we come from. Being part of a community means staying close to it, supporting the people who hold it together, and helping local traditions live on.

Proud of our roots, and even prouder to be part of this community. ☀️

Ci pensavamo da un po', e un recente approfondimento ce l'ha confermato: il fotovoltaico non è solo produzione di energia. È anche una delle chiavi per città più resilienti. ☀️🏙️

Con il caldo che aumenta, aumenta anche la domanda di energia per rinfrescare le nostre case. E qui il solare può fare la differenza, riducendo la dipendenza dalla rete proprio nei momenti più critici.

Ma c'è un altro pezzo del puzzle, quello su cui lavoriamo noi ogni giorno: l'integrazione. Perché un pannello solare può produrre energia pulita, ma se non si integra bene in un tetto, in una facciata, in uno spazio urbano..resta un'opportunità mancata.

Il nostro obiettivo? Rendere i pannelli solari più belli e più facili da adottare. Perché l'energia del futuro deve anche piacere, non solo funzionare. 🌱

This beautiful summer weather calls for a throwback!☀️
At Sunspeker, we created a personalized and branded solar panel design for Altea Federation’s solar-powered e-bike charging station using our film.

This project is a great example of how solar panels can become more than an energy source they can also become an aesthetic solution and a branding opportunity.
Solar belongs everywhere, and we’re here to make it more beautiful, easier to integrate, and more exciting to adopt.
