Become a certified center and deliver structured programs with trackable progress.

Fresh movement can lie. Fatigue tells the truth.

When an athlete is fresh, a landing, a cut or a sprint can look clean.

But when fatigue builds, control becomes harder to keep.
Landings get heavier. Reactions get less precise. Small compensations start to appear.

That’s where Proprioceptive Stability matters.

Riva Method® trains control under real sport conditions, helping athletes work on the quality of movement when it matters most.

Powered by DELOS, progress becomes measurable over time, not just visible in the moment.

Don’t just train harder.
Move better when it counts.

Is your strength program missing its most important link?

Strength matters.
But without proprioceptive control, force can become harder to manage, harder to transfer and harder to stabilize under real sport conditions.

That’s why joint stability is not built only in the weight room.

Through High-Frequency Proprioceptive Training (HFPT), the Riva Method® works on three key elements:

1️⃣ Reflexive Strength
Fast activation without cognitive delay.

2️⃣ Ankle Reactivity
A stronger foot-ankle interface to transfer force more efficiently.

3️⃣ Ligament Resilience
Repeated micro-stimulations to support joint tissue adaptation over time.

The goal is not to replace your strength routine.
It’s to complete it.

Powered by DELOS, proprioceptive training becomes measurable, targeted and specific to athletic performance.

Don’t just train harder.
Train the control that makes strength usable.

During sport, everything happens in milliseconds: a landing, a cut, a sudden stop.

Your muscles can be strong.
But if joint stabilization depends only on conscious contraction, the body is already late.

That’s why real protection also depends on involuntary reflexes: fast, pre-programmed responses that help the body stabilize before conscious awareness takes over.

This is the principle behind the 30-Millisecond Rule.

Through High-Frequency Proprioceptive Training (HFPT), the Riva Method® works on these ultra-rapid pathways, training the nervous system to respond with greater precision.

Powered by DELOS, this process becomes measurable over time.

Because in sport, control doesn’t wait for you to think.

Traditional boards are too slow.

Standard unstable surfaces often create big, slow body movements.
The athlete tries to stay upright — but that doesn’t always mean they are training precision.

High-Frequency Proprioceptive Training (HFPT) changes the stimulus.

With the Riva Method®, proprioceptive training becomes faster, more targeted and more specific: thousands of micro-corrections, real-time visual feedback and measurable control.

Powered by DELOS, the athlete can work on what really matters in sport:
foot-ground reactivity, faster responses, stronger landings, cleaner cuts and better control under pressure.

Beyond balance. Discover HFPT.

Every time you are pushing off or landing on the ground to accelerate, brake, or change direction, your body generates a massive amount of mechanical force.

But the real question is: how much energy are you leaking along the chain?

In elite sports, the difference between an explosive movement and an injury is decided in milliseconds. If the foot-ankle system lacks stiffness and reactivity, that force doesn’t turn into propulsion. It is simply absorbed by the joint, leading to a proprioceptive blackout.

You don't lack muscular strength. You lack the efficiency to transfer it.

High-Frequency Proprioceptive Training (HFPT) by Riva Method and Delos System was engineered exactly for this:

Solidify your foundation: Correct macro-instability and train to manage micro-instability, eliminating upper-body compensations to bulletproof single-leg control.

Maximize ground contact: Align your force vectors, ensuring every ounce of energy generated by your legs is instantly discharged into the ground.

Stop driving with the handbrake on. Turn stability into pure power.

Beyond balance. Into control.

Traditional unstable surfaces often create big, slow body movements.
The athlete reacts, tries to stay upright, and “survives” the instability.

But high-level proprioceptive training works differently.

With High-Frequency Proprioceptive Training (HFPT), the goal is to create thousands of small, rapid corrections that stimulate the nervous system with precision.

This is where Riva Method® changes the approach: from generic instability to targeted proprioceptive work, designed to improve reflex activation, joint reactivity and sport-specific control.

Powered by DELOS, this process becomes measurable: so progress is not based on feeling, but on data.

For athletes, that means better control, faster reactions and a more reliable body in the moments that matter: landings, cuts, sprints and changes of direction.

The next level of proprioceptive training starts here.

Balance is not enough.

In sport, more than 80% of movements happen in single stance: running, cutting, landing, changing direction, reacting to contact.

That’s where performance is decided.
Not only by strength, but by how fast your body can sense, adapt and control movement.

But all instability is not the same.

Riva Method® works on Proprioceptive Stability through High-Frequency Proprioceptive Training: thousands of small reflex contractions that help build faster, more precise control.

With DELOS, this training becomes measurable.

True stability.
Real control.

In basketball, injuries rarely happen “out of nowhere”.
They often show up when control breaks down, on a landing, during a cut, after contact, or under fatigue.

That’s why this long-term work focused on something simple to understand: single-leg control.
Over 6 years, 55 professional basketball players were prospectively monitored, and the program evolved from classic unstable-surface drills to High-Frequency Proprioceptive Training (HFPT) with the Delos Postural Proprioceptive System that quantify and train control.

The idea is straightforward: when the stimulus becomes more precise you can train it better, more consistently, and track progress over time.

👉 The results showed a statistically significant reduction in the occurrence of ankle sprains (-81%), low back pain (-78%) and knee sprains (-65%).

Summer is the perfect time to rebuild, before the season starts.
From September on, sport gets faster, messier, and more demanding. That’s why the smart work begins now: Proprioceptive Stability and motor control.

While traditional proprioceptive training reduces ankle sprain risk by only ~35%, elite performance demands an elite response.

With Riva Method® evaluations powered by the DELOS system, professionals can identify joint-specific control deficits (ankle, knee, trunk) and build a targeted plan. Thanks to our High-Frequency Proprioceptive Training (HFPT), we can push that protection up to an 81% reduction in ankle sprains, as proven by our 6-year prospective study on professional basketball players.
This is how we ensure athletes don’t just “train hard”; they train what creates true, measurable control:

✅ Unrivaled prevention: up to 81% lower risk of ankle sprains (and 78% lower risk of low back pain) compared to traditional methods
✅ Better movement quality and consistency
✅ Prevention-focused work and safer return-to-sport progressions
✅ High-frequency programs tailored to the sport and the athlete

Animals don’t “work out”, yet their control looks effortless.
Because they build it all day: low intensity, continuous stimulation.

Humans often do the opposite: intense sessions… then long stops.
And control becomes inconsistent.

This is where Proprioceptive Stability matters: your ability to stay stable while adapting.
Riva Method® trains it with a structured approach and with DELOS, progress becomes measurable over time.
