Ci sono risultati che si misurano nei tempi rispettati. Altri nel modo in cui ci si arriva. 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘇𝘇𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗼 𝗵𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗲 𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝗲.

Durante la fermata meccanica presso il cantiere 𝗜𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗬𝗡, a Rosignano Solvay (LI), nel settore Elettrolisi all’interno del Parco Industriale Solvay Group, Samuele si è distinto nel ruolo di 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼, affrontando ogni fase delle attività con responsabilità, attenzione e presenza sul campo.

La sicurezza non è stata semplicemente una procedura da rispettare, ma una 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮̀ 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮: lavorazioni eseguite secondo gli standard previsti, controllo costante delle attività e attenzione alle persone, senza perdere di vista le esigenze produttive e l’avanzamento dei lavori. 𝗡𝘂𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆, 𝗜𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘆 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲. 𝗦𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗖 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆.

SIMIC welcomes the final approval of the 𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗮𝘄 𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗻𝘂𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 in Italy, a significant step towards establishing a new national framework for the sector, nearly 40 years after the closure of Italy’s nuclear power plants and the referendum.

The law now mandates the Government to develop a comprehensive regulatory framework covering the 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝘂𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲: from the construction and operation of nuclear facilities to safety, radioactive waste management and decommissioning, as well as the development of advanced nuclear technologies and fusion.

A new chapter is opening for Italy, one that will require not only a solid regulatory framework, but also 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗲, 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.

𝗦𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗖’𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗡’𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽

A major technological milestone has been reached at CERN with the successful welding of the first beryllium tubes at its 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽, marking the start of in-house production of critical beam-pipe components for the and future accelerator projects.

SIMIC is proud to have contributed to the creation of this𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 through the engineering, manufacturing, assembly, and delivery of its pressurised rooms.

The facility was designed to support operations involving beryllium, a material that requires exceptionally stringent safety and contamination-control conditions.

Within our scope, this translated into demanding requirements in terms of 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹, 𝗱𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆, 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀, 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟭𝟱,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴.

All of this had to be achieved within an 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲.

Through close coordination with CERN teams and the other companies involved, SIMIC successfully completed its activities, contributing to a facility that CERN delivered from project approval to safety clearance in just 𝟭𝟯 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀.

We are honoured to have brought SIMIC’s engineering and manufacturing expertise to such a demanding project, and we are grateful to CERN for its trust and close cooperation.

SIMIC continues to invest in the energy transition with the 𝗻𝗲𝘄 "𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗶" 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺, fully owned by the Group and located in 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘀𝗮, 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗮 (𝗜𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘆).

The project will be delivered by 𝗦𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗖 𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗣𝗖 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 and will feature 𝟭𝟬 𝗩𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘀 𝗩𝟭𝟲𝟯-𝟰.𝟱 𝗠𝗪 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, with a total installed capacity of𝟰𝟱 𝗠𝗪.

For this project, SIMIC selected Vestas, the global leader in sustainable wind energy solutions, as technology partner responsible for the supply, installation, commissioning and long-term servicing of the wind turbines.

Thanks to the 𝟭𝟲𝟯-𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, the wind farm will maximize renewable energy production while reducing the number of turbines required, improving overall efficiency and minimizing its environmental footprint.

Since 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟬, SIMIC has been directly investing in renewable energy generation through fully owned, developed and built solar and wind plants. Today, the Group operates 𝟭𝟮𝟬 𝗠𝗪 of installed renewable capacity, with a further 𝟲𝟱 𝗠𝗪 under construction and 𝟮𝟱𝟬 𝗠𝗪 currently under development.

This new investment further strengthens SIMIC's long-term commitment to developing innovative and sustainable energy infrastructure, actively supporting the energy transition and contributing to a more secure and low-carbon future.

𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 #𝟭 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱. 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱.

Sector #1 has officially entered the ITER 𝗣𝗜𝗧 becoming the 𝘀𝗶𝘅𝘁𝗵 𝗩𝗮𝗰𝘂𝘂𝗺 𝗩𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 installed in the world's largest fusion energy project.

Working alongside Framatome and 𝗖𝗡𝗣𝗘, SIMIC contributed to this important milestone through the assembly of the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗼𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 (𝗜𝗖𝗦): a highly complex operation requiring seamless coordination between our manufacturing facilities in Italy, where the precision mechanical work is performed, and our specialist teams in Cadarache, responsible for the final on-site assembly.

𝗔 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝘂𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻

𝗦𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗖 𝗮𝗻𝗱 ATB Group are proud to announce the award of a contract for the manufacturing of key components for an 𝗔𝗦𝗠𝗘 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗜𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹 supporting a major nuclear programme, the details of which remain confidential in accordance with contractual obligations.

This milestone marks the successful conclusion of a journey that began with feasibility study contracts awarded to ATB and subsequently developed into a joint engineering, qualification and industrial development programme involving ATB, SIMIC and our customer.

The project now enters its manufacturing phase, with production commencing at ATB's facilities in Roncadelle (BS), before the assemblies are transferred to SIMIC's waterfront manufacturing facilities in Porto Marghera (Venice) for final welding, integration and assembly.

This achievement highlights the strength of the Italian nuclear manufacturing supply chain and the value of combining complementary expertise to support Europe's next generation of nuclear energy projects.
