𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 #𝟭 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱. 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱.

Sector #1 has officially entered the ITER 𝗣𝗜𝗧 becoming the 𝘀𝗶𝘅𝘁𝗵 𝗩𝗮𝗰𝘂𝘂𝗺 𝗩𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 installed in the world's largest fusion energy project.

Working alongside Framatome and 𝗖𝗡𝗣𝗘, SIMIC contributed to this important milestone through the assembly of the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗼𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 (𝗜𝗖𝗦): a highly complex operation requiring seamless coordination between our manufacturing facilities in Italy, where the precision mechanical work is performed, and our specialist teams in Cadarache, responsible for the final on-site assembly.

Each new installation strengthens our expertise. With every sector completed, ex*****on become 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲. Sector #1 represents another significant achievement, delivered in an 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲 thanks to accumulated experience, outstanding teamwork, and continuous process optimization.

𝗦𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗖 𝗮𝗻𝗱 ATB Group are proud to announce the award of a contract for the manufacturing of key components for an 𝗔𝗦𝗠𝗘 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗜𝗜 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹 supporting a major nuclear programme, the details of which remain confidential in accordance with contractual obligations.

This milestone marks the successful conclusion of a journey that began with feasibility study contracts awarded to ATB and subsequently developed into a joint engineering, qualification and industrial development programme involving ATB, SIMIC and our customer.

The project now enters its manufacturing phase, with production commencing at ATB's facilities in Roncadelle (BS), before the assemblies are transferred to SIMIC's waterfront manufacturing facilities in Porto Marghera (Venice) for final welding, integration and assembly.

This achievement highlights the strength of the Italian nuclear manufacturing supply chain and the value of combining complementary expertise to support Europe's next generation of nuclear energy projects.

𝗦𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗖 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮 𝗱𝗶 “𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆” - 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝘂𝗻𝗲𝗼

La nostra sede SIMIC ha ospitato il secondo appuntamento di 𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘈𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺, l’iniziativa di dedicata alle eccellenze industriali e alle tecnologie che stanno trasformando il settore manifatturiero.

Dopo i saluti istituzionali di 𝗚𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗼 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗳𝗼, Presidente della Sezione Meccanica di Confindustria Cuneo, l’attenzione si è concentrata sul focus 𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘈𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘍𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘌𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺, momento centrale dell’evento. 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼 𝗭𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗼, Professore del Politecnico di Torino, e 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗚𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗮, Head of Nuclear & Big Science di SIMIC, hanno approfondito le prospettive dell’energia da fusione e il contributo dell’azienda al progettO ITER.

La giornata si è conclusa con una visita agli stabilimenti, durante la quale i partecipanti hanno potuto toccare con mano le competenze e le tecnologie che permettono a SIMIC di contribuire a progetti tra i più avanzati al mondo.

Un’occasione per vedere da vicino come innovazione, le nuove tecnologie e la manifattura avanzata si trasformino in soluzioni concrete.

Anche quest’anno SIMIC è orgogliosa di supportare un’iniziativa che promuove sport, territorio e condivisione: 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗱𝗶 𝗕𝗶𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮, 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟴 𝗹𝘂𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗮 (𝗖𝗡).

L’evento inaugurerà il nuovo parco ciclistico Biking Alta Langa con una pedalata non competitiva aperta a tutti, dagli appassionati di ciclismo alle famiglie, con percorsi dedicati a ogni livello e a ogni età. Al termine della mattinata, i partecipanti potranno condividere un momento conviviale durante il pranzo organizzato nell’ambito dell’evento, incluso nella quota di iscrizione.

Ospiti d’eccezione della giornata saranno:

- Gilberto Simoni, due volte vincitore del Giro d’Italia
- Beppe Conti, giornalista, scrittore e storica voce del ciclismo italiano

Il programma prevede inoltre la presentazione del libro “Tadej Pogačar – Il predestinato” di Beppe Conti, l’esposizione delle biciclette storiche di Fausto Coppi, dirette radiofoniche e momenti di intrattenimento per tutti i partecipanti.

On 25 June 2026, during the France–Italy Economic Forum in Le Cannet (France), SIMIC officially signed the Declaration of Interest for the 𝘕𝘜𝘞𝘈𝘙𝘋 𝘚𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘔𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 (𝘚𝘔𝘙) 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵.

The Forum, dedicated to strengthening industrial and economic cooperation between France and Italy, was attended by Emmanuel Macron , Giorgia Meloni , and senior representatives of both Governments, confirming the growing strategic cooperation between the two countries in the nuclear sector.

With this signature, SIMIC joins 𝗡𝗨𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗, EDF, Edison , Aipe , ATB Group , 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗽𝗲𝗺, 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗯𝗶 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶, Walter Tosto and Webuild in supporting the development of Europe's next generation of Small Modular Reactor (SMR) technology.

At the 𝗙𝗜𝗔 Supply Chain Trade Show in New Mexico, SIMIC's Business Development Manager, 𝗣𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗮𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗕𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗼, moderated the panel discussion "𝘉𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘭𝘰𝘣𝘢𝘭 𝘍𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘺 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘪𝘯: 𝘊𝘢𝘯 𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘚𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘦 𝘍𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘌𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩?".

Bringing together representatives from the U.S. Department of Energy , 𝗟𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹, UK Atomic Energy Authority , and Commonwealth Fusion Systems, the discussion focused on one of the key challenges facing fusion commercialization: developing a global industrial ecosystem capable of supporting multiple fusion projects simultaneously.

The panel highlighted the importance of supply chain readiness, investment confidence, skilled workforce development, and collaboration between governments, developers, and suppliers. A clear message emerged: the future of fusion will be built not only through scientific breakthroughs, but also through strong industrial partnerships and manufacturing capabilities.
