Are any of Jersey’s fabulous charities in need of a store? Although undoubtedly used, it is water-tight, has sockets and a heater. There are windows on the sides not seen in the photos.

Geomarine needs to move it soon and will be scrapping or auctioning it, so would rather it go to a worthy cause if it is of use. We will deliver and level it up if you have a use.

A huge thank you to the CIPD Jersey Branch for our Best Learning and Development Strategy award that was presented on Saturday night.

The award recognised the excellent work by the education and business partnership formed between Skills Jersey Yourown Government of Jersey to implement and deliver Design Engineer Construct! (DEC!). Launched at Le Rocquier School in September 2018 the course has gone from strength to strength putting construction and the built environment on the full-time curricular in a number of schools in Jersey allowing DEC! to be studied from Y7-13 and is classed as both GSCE and A level equivalent.

It is amazing to receive recognition for the investment we are making to develop careers in the built environment.

Jersey Boat Show 2022.

Geomarine is all set. Find them in the Geomarine Outdoor and Activities Area. Make sure you pop down to their barge too as there are lots to see and they will be doing rope access and diving demonstrations tomorrow and Sunday between 11am and 1pm.

We are really proud to have been shortlisted in two categories of the CIPD Jersey Branch awards this year. We are up against tough competition in the Employee Engagement Initiative and Best Learning and Development categories. This is the first time we have entered and it is amazing to have received recognition for the work we are doing on employee engagement and career development within the built environment here in Jersey.

We have had an overwhelming response to the awards this year, thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination. The sponsors definitely had a hard job ...

We are really proud to have established a training partnership with the CIOB as investing and developing our staff is key to our business strategy. Both Camerons and RG Falla have the CIOB’s Chartered Building Contractor status who have a number of CIOB members in their teams. Being a CIOB training partner will allow us to work and support our staff to gain their individual memberships further showing our commitment to enhancing the quality, competence, ethics and professionalism of our teams.
