A&C Ventilation would like to thank all our existing and new customers this year it’s been a pleasure working with you all.

It’s been an up and down year all round with lots going on with moving workshops and a few other things.

But we are all settled in at the workshop now and already raring to go next year after a nice festive rest.

Our last working day is today 19th and we won’t be back to Monday 5th.

Emergency call outs for fans going down will be available as long as we have the right fans in stock.

The annual A&C mid year get together and trident Toms last day.
Great to give the boys a break now and again to enjoy a bit of banter with each other away from work and today was perfect for it.
The first part of the year has been a hectic one there’s no doubt with lots on but with also moving workshops had really put the pressure on! As we were a few weeks without a working workshop.
But since then the team has pulled together and done brilliantly to get us back up to speed and in a good place, plus with Toms last day of trident it was good to get him involved to enjoy it also as he has been a brilliant lad throughout his two weeks with us, put in great shifts on all jobs he attended or within the workshop, didn’t shy away from anything, polite, easy to talk to and loves the banter between the lads, Tom is an absolute credit to himself his family and his school, Le Rocquier School
Breakfast as always at El Tico Beach Cantina just quality every time followed by a friendly game of mini golf at Les Mielles.
For a moment not knowing what the scores were going into the last hole and knowing he can play the game well a few of us thought that Trident Tom was in the lead but there was a couple of holes along the 18 where we thought he was getting his speedos on and deck chair out and sun lotion on when in the bunkers 🤣
Four holes in one today that’s a record for us I think over the last three or four years we have been doing this, we have to try and beat that next time.
Unluckily for Tom he came in a very close 2nd place today but he definitely came 1st for his effort and commitment throughout his 2 weeks with us.
All the boys at A&C wish Tom all the very best for the future 🙌🏻

The importance of your kitchen extract maintenance.

We had a call last week from a customer complaining that they thought their fan had stop working.
After inspection 🧐 it was clear why!
The shear build up of grease within the canopy and ductwork towards the fan was not good.
Not only that but the fan itself was pretty much blocked not allowing the hot air from the kitchen to flow through freely, when also looking at the blades of the fan they were also clogged with grease and with the cold weather coming in now the grease build up when the fan is turned off over night will go harder then normal.
Which means the next day when you turn your fan on and starts it wont be spinning freely as it’s trying to get through the built up grease which eventually will burn your fan out! 😱

Sometimes when you see this build up it’s usually a sign that business is going well. Or it’s just not been done for a very long time.
But without a maintenance a few times of year you could be having to shut down the kitchen temporarily while waiting to get a new fan ordered and installed.
Which means you could be losing money by not being able to cook without your extractor fan on and also having to buy a new one.
Every kitchen with a canopy extract system should be maintained at least every six months.

When working on a lovely house with unbelievable sea views 🌊, it’s good to know they will also be bringing in the fresh air from outside throughout the house with this heat recovery system while taking the stale house air away!

From scratch in the workshop to installing on site!
The owner of this house was getting concerned about the possibility of someone falling off the edge of this ramp, so asked us to install a safety barrier to prevent such a thing happening as well as installing a stairwell rail 👍🏻
All put together and welded out of polished marine grade stainless steel.

Great little team get together day 👍🏻
After a long summer for hard work of finishing jobs and in good positions on others it’s always nice to have a day to thank the boys for the work that’s been put in and for new boys to get to know the others,
Cheeky breakfast and some mini golf ⛳️
I also got knocked of the top step this time round 😢😢😢
Good banter with with a great set of lads 💪🏻
