One of our favourite things to do at Signature Spaces is take bold, complex concept designs from architects and designers, and figure out exactly how to build them! We thrive on turning ambitious ideas into structural reality!

We are working behind the scenes at Jersey Airport, where the design team envisioned three highly bespoke, circular timber columns, featuring a unique crows nest at the top to house the flight indicator boards, and containing a hidden metal substructure to securely support the heavy screens. We took their initial brief and drawings, and partnered with our specialist joiners and engineers to bring their vision to life.

To ensure perfection, we manufactured and installed the first complete column as a site trial, keeping the team updated throughout. Following a successful site review, we are full steam ahead on the remaining two columns!

We can’t show you the fully finished look just yet, but swipe through to see the journey from initial concept to workshop engineering. We will share the final reveal soon!

Last month we were incredibly proud to hand Bermuda House back to Jersey Property Holdings, following completion of the full refurbishment and fit-out, as well as assisting with the relocation of Jersey’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). Our team have been working hard to transform this building into a modern, welcoming, and “fit for purpose” facility that will provide a huge benefit to the community, and this before and after video shows the amazing transformation!

Speaking specifically about the relocation aspect of the works, our client said “Signature handled our business relocation with exceptional professionalism and efficiency. Every detail was managed seamlessly and communication was excellent; this minimised disruption to our operations and ensured a smooth transition. We couldn’t have asked for a better service”

Meet Craig, Quantity Surveyor and Estimator!

Craig moved to Jersey in 2006 as a ceramic tiler, with a modern apprenticeship in wall and floor tiling, which helped develop his keen eye for detail and high quality workmanship which continues to define his approach today.

After spending 13 years with a leading local supplier of tiles, kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms, Craig utilised the experience he gained to further his career, progressing into Quantity Surveying and Estimating with a local shop-fitting contractor. During this time he completed his HNC in Construction (with Distinction) and played a key role in delivering a range of high profile refurbishment and fit out projects. He was also part of the delivery team who won the Jersey Construction Council Project of the Year (Under £2 million) award in 2023.

Since joining Signature Spaces at the company’s launch in August last year, Craig has been involved in delivering our very first project at Sure, Castle Street, alongside multiple other high end commercial projects.
