Episode 7.

Three sections of the Charlton roof were done: leaking, sagging, rusted, and the zinc lifting off. No patch job was going to save them.

So we stripped all three sections and replaced them with new zinc. Dry, solid and ready for storm season.
Patch it or replace it? What would you have done?

Demolition at the Charlton Project 🔨

❌ Leaking roofs, gone
❌ Lifting tiles, dug up
❌ Walls, knocked down to open the space
🔧 Plumbing and electrical, redone from scratch

We don’t cover problems up. We strip them out.

Would you have kept going or walked away? 👇

Episode 5.

A renovation is only as good as what goes into it. Here’s who we trusted on the Charlton Project:
Tiles, thinset and toilets: Kban, Tile City, and Active
Shower Hardware and Drains: Lux
Perimeter lighting: Electrical Depot
Interior lighting and kitchen: Active

We picked every product for how it looks, how it lasts, and how it holds up in Jamaican conditions.

Which supplier do you swear by? Tell us below.

Episode 4.

Three problems we found when we first walked through Charlton:

1. The roof. Three areas of the existing roof were failing and needed replacement.
2. The plumbing. The whole network was galvanized supply lines and clay drainage pipes. Both had to be replaced.
3. The electrical. The infrastructure was grossly undersized for the upgrades the family wanted. Everything needed replacing, from the main supply lines to the panel and everything it feeds.

None of this shows up in a listing photo. This is why you never skip a proper inspection.
Which one would scare you most: roof, plumbing or electrical?

Episode 3.

Every renovation starts with a list. Here’s what this family asked us for:

1. A full kitchen upgrade, modern and spacious
2. The office converted to a full bed and bath suite
3. A central powder room
4. An updated primary suite with a walk-in closet
5. A proper outdoor deck
6. Upgraded bathrooms throughout
7. Improved grill work and lighting for security
8. Upgraded electrical and HVAC
9. A full plumbing overhaul
10. A complete face-lift for the exterior

Ten must-haves. We’re ticking off every one, episode by episode. Follow so you don’t miss it.
If this was your house, what would be first on the list?

Day one at Charlton, February 2026. This is the house exactly as we found it, room by room. Remember these rooms. You’ll see every one of them again.
