Building the future requires strong partnerships.
We were pleased to welcome representatives from Afreximbank to our South Terminal at Port Esquivel for discussions focused on catalysing trade, investment, industrialisation, and energy infrastructure across Jamaica and the wider Caribbean.
The visit provided an opportunity to showcase the strategic fuel infrastructure that underpins our operations, exchange perspectives on regional growth opportunities, and explore areas where collaboration can support economic development.
Representing Afreximbank were Mr. Eric Intong, Group Managing Director, Client Relations and Regional Operations; Mr. Federico Seidu, Senior Manager, Trade, Investment and Corporate Finance; Ms. Ermine Francis, Manager, Client Relations, Caribbean Office; Ms. Natalie Brown, Manager, Treasury and Markets; Ms. Rana Hamdy, Assistant Manager, Credit Assessment (CARICOM Region); and Ms. Furaha Karba, Regional Communications Manager.
Representing WIP were Charles Chambers (c), Co-Founder and Director and from left, Hon. Danville Walker, OJ, JP, Senior Vice-President; Tarik Felix (2nd left), Co-Founder and Director; and Anthony Litchmore (r), Deputy Chief Financial Officer.
As Jamaica continues to position itself as a hub for regional trade and investment, partnerships between financial institutions and industry leaders will play a critical role in unlocking long-term growth.
