Quality Carton Packaging Company (located in Muwaqqar Industrial City) is looking for a) Quality & Compliance Officer (as per the below requirements:
Qualifications
** Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related Science discipline.
** 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
** ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is preferred.
** Experience in conducting internal and external audits.
** Strong knowledge of Document Control systems.
** Experience in managing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Key Responsibilities
** Maintain and continuously improve the company's Quality Management System (ISO 9001), Environmental Management System (ISO 14001), and Occupational Health & Safety Management System (ISO 45001).
**Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal audits, and support external certification and surveillance audits.
** Manage and maintain GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certification, including traceability, mass balance, and Transaction Certificates (TCs).
** Manage and maintain FSC® Chain of Custody certification and ensure compliance with FSC requirements.
** Coordinate and manage SEDEX / SMETA social compliance audits and follow up on corrective action plans.
** Monitor customer compliance requirements and ensure timely implementation of customer standards.
** Manage Food Contact Compliance, including Declarations of Compliance (DoC) and supporting documentation.
** Maintain Halal certification and other customer-specific certifications.
**Investigate non-conformities (NCs) and ensure timely implementation and verification of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
**Maintain the company's Document Control System, ensuring proper document revision, approval, distribution, and record retention.
** Verify supplier certifications and ensure all suppliers meet applicable compliance requirements.
** Prepare compliance reports, KPI reports, and audit summaries for management review.
**Coordinate with certification bodies, customers, and regulatory authorities on compliance-related matters.
**Conduct employee training and awareness programs related to quality, compliance, environmental, and health & safety systems.
**Monitor changes in international standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations, ensuring timely implementation within the organization.
** Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and maintain compliance.
