Every year, AEC holds its Motivation Party as a way to thank the people whose hard work and dedication keep our company moving forward.

During the event, our President shared his gratitude with our team:

"The many challenges and accomplishments we've experienced during the first half of the year were made possible by the hard work of each and every employee.
Thank you for your dedication. I hope you enjoy this time together and take the opportunity to connect with one another."

The gathering was filled with great conversations, laughter, and new connections across departments.

AECでは、日々会社を支える社員への感謝を伝える場として、毎年この時期に社員慰労会を開催しています。

ケン社長からは、
「上半期のさまざまな挑戦を乗り越えられたのは、日々現場で汗を流す社員一人ひとりのおかげです。今日は思い切り楽しみ、たくさん交流してください」と感謝の言葉が述べられました。

当日は部署を越えた交流が生まれ、笑顔あふれるひとときに。
普段は接点の少ない社員同士がコミュニケーションをとることができるのも、この時間の大切な価値です。

業務の都合などで参加できなかった社員も、それぞれの持ち場でAECを支えてくれている大切な仲間です。

On August 13, 2026, a ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of the Ginowan Seaside Park Open-Air Theater, constructed by American Engineering Corporation (AEC) and Ishiken. Guests, project partners, and community representatives gathered to mark this important milestone.

The ceremony featured performances by middle and high school students from Ginowan City, bringing energy and a strong sense of community to the newly completed theater.

Ginowan City Mayor Atsushi Sakima shared his expectations for the new facility:
“We have high hopes that the new theater will contribute significantly to tourism and regional development along the West Coast.”

Minister of State for Okinawa and Northern Territories Affairs Hitoshi Kikawada also expressed his hopes for the facility:
“We hope that the approximately 8,000-seat theater will serve as a major attraction and contribute to the development of a strong Okinawan economy.”

Speaking on behalf of the construction team, AEC President Ken reflected on the project and expressed his appreciation:
“This was a very rewarding project. We would not have been able to reach this day without the support and cooperation of so many people.”

He expressed his gratitude to Ginowan City, the design and construction supervision teams, project partners, and members of the local community who contributed to the successful completion of the project.

AEC is proud to have contributed to the completion of the facility and will continue its involvement as the naming rights partner.

As "AEC Open-Air Theater Ginowan" begins its next chapter, we look forward to seeing the facility become a place where people gather, connect, and create lasting memories.

2026年8月13日。アメリカン エンジニアリング コーポレーションが施工に携わった宜野湾海浜公園屋外劇場の落成式が行われ、多くのご来賓の皆さまに見守られる中、祝いました。

式典では、宜野湾市の中高生によるパフォーマンスも披露され、完成したばかりの劇場に、早くも地域の皆さまの笑顔と声が広がりました。

佐喜眞淳宜野湾市長からは、
「新劇場の誕生が、西海岸エリアの観光と地域振興の大きな力になると大いに期待しています。」との期待が寄せられました。

また、黄川田仁志内閣府特命担当大臣からは、
「約8,000人収容の劇場が、集客拠点として強い沖縄経済の実現に寄与することを期待します。」
との言葉がありました。

施工者を代表して挨拶したAECのケン社長は、
「今回の工事は、とてもやりがいのあるプロジェクトでした。皆さまのお力添えがあったからこそ、本日の落成式を迎えることができました」
と述べ、宜野湾市をはじめ、設計・監理関係者、パートナー企業、地域の皆さまなど、工事に携わり支えてくださった方々への感謝を伝えました。

AECは、施工を担っただけでなく、今後はネーミングライツパートナーとしてもこの施設に関わります。
「AEC オープンエアー シアター ぎのわん」が、これから地域の皆さまの笑顔や思い出が積み重なる場所となるよう、AECもその歩みを応援してまいります。

On August 10, AEC signed a naming rights agreement with Ginowan City at an official signing ceremony.

Under the agreement, the Ginowan Seaside Park Outdoor Theater will be known as “AEC Open Air Theater Ginowan,” and the Ginowan City Gymnasium as “AEC Arena Ginowan.”

The Mayor of Ginowan expressed his hope that the new names will become well established in the community and that both facilities will continue to grow as vibrant gathering places.

The newly renovated AEC Open Air Theater Ginowan was constructed with the involvement of AEC. Reflecting on the significance of this partnership, our President shared:

“As the company that helped build this facility, we take great pride in being part of its story. We hope it will continue to be loved by the community and become a place where new memories are created, adding even greater value over time.”

We look forward to seeing these facilities become places where people come together, connect, and create lasting memories, while becoming part of Okinawa’s evolving landscape.

宜野湾市立体育館は「AECアリーナぎのわん」の愛称で、多くの皆さまに親しまれる施設として歩み始めます。

宜野湾市長からは「このネーミングが定着し、賑わいのある地域の施設として成長されることを期待したい。」とコメントをいただきました。

新しく生まれ変わった「AEC オープンエアーシアター ぎのわん」は、AECが施工に携わった施設です。
弊社代表は「施工に携わった会社として、この施設への誇りがあります。これから地域の皆さんに長く愛され、新しい思い出が積み重なっていくことで、その場所の価値はもっと大きくなっていくと信じています。」と想いを語りました。

This represents a significant improvement from our previous ranking of 15th, moving up four positions. In addition, AEC ranked 8th in Okinawa Prefecture for sales growth.

Safety starts with the Basics.

At our August monthly assembly, we began by expressing our sincere sympathies to everyone affected by the recent earthquake in Kumamoto. The assembly also provided an opportunity to renew our commitment to workplace safety.

Our executive team emphasized a fundamental message: workplace accidents can be prevented by consistently following basic safety practices and conducting daily hazard prediction activities, known as KY in Japan.

At AEC, safety is everyone's responsibility. By remaining alert, identifying potential hazards, and following established procedures, we can create a safer workplace for everyone.

We also welcomed our newest team members as we begin August together.

Moving forward, we remain committed to fostering a safe and secure working environment for our employees, clients, and business partners.

8月の月次朝礼では、まず熊本地震で被災された皆さまへお見舞いの気持ちを共有するとともに、安全について改めて意識を高める機会となりました。

役員からは、「労働災害は基本の徹底で予防できる。KY（危険予知）をしっかり実践しよう」と呼び掛けがありました。

AECでは、一人ひとりが安全を自分ごととして考え、日々の基本を積み重ねることを大切にしています。

また、新入社員の紹介も行い、新たな仲間を迎えて8月をスタートしました。

今月も、安全で安心して働ける職場づくりに取り組んでまいります。
