八ヶ岳南麓の地で素朴屋が産声をあげたのが2006年。会社として設立して11年。
ハノイ、東京へと拠点は広がり、たくさんのお客さま、お取組み先の皆さま、そして一緒に働いてきた仲間たちに支えられて、様々な困難を乗り越えながら今日までやってくることができました。
会社の規模は少しずつ大きくなり、時代が大きく変わっていく今こそチャンスと捉えて、日本で古来から受け継がれてきたサステナブルで理に叶った建築を世界へ届けていきたいと思っています。世界各地その地域で育まれる自然素材を活かして、日本人の手仕事でしか実現できない、地域のアイデンティティになるような建築で暮らしの風景をつくっていきたいです。

SOBOKUYA was born in 2006 at the southern foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains. It’s now been 11 years since we officially became a company.
From our beginnings in Yamanashi, we’ve expanded our bases to Hanoi and Tokyo. Thanks to the support of many clients, partners, and team members who have worked alongside us, we’ve been able to overcome numerous challenges and make it to where we are today.
As our company continues to grow steadily, we see this era of great change as a real opportunity. We aim to share Japan’s time-honored, sustainable, and rational architecture with the world. By using natural materials nurtured in each region and incorporating craftsmanship that only Japanese hands can offer, we strive to create architecture that reflects local identity and enriches everyday life.
We welcome those who want to grow and work hard together, regardless of age or experience. We need new members with the passion to seize opportunities for themselves and the determination to keep pushing forward.
