『Before the Obon Break / Wrapping Things Up/盆休み前のひと仕事』

How’s it goin’, folks!

We’re taking our Obon holiday from tomorrow through the 16th.

Before we clock off for the break, we’re finishing up a NC30/NC35 titanium 4-2-1 exhaust system and a high-mount center-up exhaust for the early-model GROM.

As always, the items we build are all over the place, so there’s not much room for mass production around here! 😂

But when you consider how long riders tend to keep their motorcycles, we believe aftermarket parts shouldn’t disappear from the market after just a short sales period.

There’s still plenty of demand for these products, so we’re not discontinuing this one anytime soon.

So, take your time and enjoy your bike with the stock exhaust first. And when the time feels right, we’d be more than happy for you to consider one of our exhaust systems. 😎

明日から16日まで盆休みです。

休み前の段取りはNC30/35チタン4-2-1の仕上げや初期型GROM用センターアップの仕上げです。

相変わらず製作するアイテムがバラつき量産性はありませんが、バイクの所有年数を考えるとアフターパーツの販売期間は長くないとダメだと弊社は思っています。

今回のアイテムもまだまだご要望があるので廃盤にしませんので、ゆっくりと純正マフラーで楽しんだ後に弊社アイテムをご検討いただければと思いっています。

『Keeping It Clean After Removing the Passenger Pegs/タンデムステップを外した後も、見た目はシュッと。』

Hey folks, how’s it going?

These photos show the passenger footpeg area of the 8BJ-JA71 Super Cub C125.

Our exhaust is a high-mounted, upswept type, so it doesn’t allow for a passenger.

Once you remove the passenger footpegs, the mounting holes become pretty noticeable, so we’ve included a dedicated cover plate as an accessory.

Now, to be fair, this plate is literally just there to hide those bolt holes.

But hey, it does make things look nice and clean, doesn’t it?

Just one of my little personal touches.

弊社マフラーはアップタイプなのでタンデムができません。

タンデムステップを外すと固定用の穴が目立つので付属品として専用のプレートを用意しました。

ただ、ボルト穴を隠す為だけのプレートです。

でも、シュッとするでしょ？

私の小さな拘りです。

『New Super Cub C125 Header Pipe Ready for the Latest Model/スーパーカブC125 新型対応エキパイを開発中』

Howdy, folks!

Here's a look at the header pipe for the Honda Super Cub C125.

The one in the foreground is for the current model.

The pipe routing and bends are basically the same as the previous version, but thanks to the latest emissions regulations, the catalytic converter on the current model had to be moved much closer to the engine.

The previous model also came with a catalytic converter, but it was tucked away around the middle of the header pipe, so you could hardly tell where it was just by looking.

Even when it's the same bike, a new engine code and updated regulations can mean a fresh redesign like this. And of course, every new version has to pass emissions testing and certification before it earns its place on the road.

We're just about done with the prototype for our product photos, so it won't be long before we can show you the finished setup.

Once the production version is ready, we'll be sure to share it with y'all!

写真はスーパーカブC125のエキパイです。

写真手前のエキパイが現行モデル用です。

パイプの曲げなどは旧モデルと同じですが、現行モデルは排ガス規制の関係で触媒の取付け位置が旧モデルより随分と前に移動しました。

旧モデルも触媒は装着されていますが、エキパイの真中位にあるので見た感じどこに触媒があるかわかりません。

同じ車両でもエンジン型式が変わり、規制が更新されるとこんな感じで製品を更新します。勿論その都度、排ガス試験と認証試験をクリアさせています。

ボチボチ撮影用のエキパイが完成するので、近いうちに商品撮影が出来そうです。

量産品が出来ましたらお見せしますね。

Hey folks!

Here’s a shot of the SPEC-A TI 4-1 TYPE-SA exhaust and the black radiator core guard we recently delivered for the '18– Honda CB400SF.

The customer was kind enough to send us these awesome photos—much appreciated!

That titanium is starting to pick up a gorgeous heat tint now. Looking proper sweet, isn’t it?
And you know what? We always think the same thing... motorcycle folks are seriously good at taking photos!

As for us... well, taking pictures isn’t exactly our strongest suit. 😅

We usually end up snapping the same bike over and over before we finally get one we’re happy with! 😂

『Building Our Classic 4-2-2 Exhaust for the Legendary '90s RVF400/90年代V4の名作、RVF400用4-2-2マフラーを製作中』

Hey folks! Hope you're doing great!

Today we're putting the finishing touches on one of our long-time favorites—the RVF400 (NC35) SUS 4-2-2 Semi Full Exhaust System.

In the first photo, you'll see the assembly jig we use for the dedicated 4-2-2 silencer bands. Since this system stacks two silencers vertically, the band design is a bit more involved than usual. Between the upper and lower silencers sits a dedicated aluminum bracket—the black bracket you can spot right in the middle.

The second photo shows the rear-bank exhaust pipe. This exhaust system is designed to reuse part of the OEM header, but fitting the rear bank is famously tricky. Even the slightest heat distortion can make assembly difficult, so we finish the pipe while securely holding the OEM section in place. And honestly... even after all that, installing it is still a bit of a challenge. That's just life with a V4 engine! 😄

The third photo shows a silencer midway through assembly. This is just my personal opinion, but I still think a Kevlar silencer looks absolutely spot-on on the RVF400.

That's how we do things—we're still proudly building exhaust systems for legendary machines from the '90s, just like we always have. We'll keep making quality exhausts for these discontinued classics so riders can continue enjoying them for years to come.

今日は弊社定番アイテムのRVF400（NC35）SUS4-2-2 セミフルエキの仕上げです。

1枚目の写真は4-2-2専用サイレンサーバンドの組み立て治具です。サイレンサーが縦に二本並ぶのでサイレンサーバンドも少し凝った作りです。上下のサイレンサーの間には専用のアルミ製ブラケットを使用します。（真中の黒いブラケットです）

2枚目の写真はリアバンク側のエキパイです。このアイテムは純正エキパイの一部を使用するタイプなんですが、リア側は取付けが面倒なので少しの熱歪みでも組み立てしにくくなるので純正エキパイを固定しながら仕上げます。ここまでしても取付けが面倒なのはV4エンジンならではです。笑

3枚目の写真は組み立て途中のサイレンサーです。個人的な好みになりますがRVF400にはケブラーサイレンサーが一番似合うって思っております。

こんな感じで90年代のアイテムも普通に製作しています。これからも絶版車のマフラーを作り続けていきたいとお思います。

『R&D and Production — No Cutting Corners!/ 開発と量産、どちらも妥協なし！』

Howdy, folks!

Man, it's been crazy hot every single day, hasn't it?

Today's game plan is to build a batch of silencers for customer orders while also prototyping the screen bracket for the CB1000F.

The silencer production follows a well-established process, so it's all about staying focused and building each one with care. But the screen bracket is a whole different story. Even a tiny change in the angle can completely change the bike's overall look and feel.

Looks like we'll probably be printing set after set on the 3D printer again today. 😄

This is one of those parts where you just can't settle for "good enough." We'll keep refining it until we're genuinely happy with the final shape.

今日の段取りはオーダー分のサイレンサーを製作しながら、CB1000F用スクリーンのステーを試作の製作です。

サイレンサーの製作は決まった作業なので丁寧に作業をすればいいのですが、スクリーン用ステーは少し角度が違うだけで随分を印象が変わるので、きっと今日も何セットも3Dプリンターで作る事になりそうです。笑

ここで妥協するとダメなので納得できる形状になるまで頑張りたいと思います。

『Here's the plan for today!/今日の予定は！』

Hello again.

Today’s plan is to start by assembling the stainless steel 4-1 exhaust for the GSX400 IMPULSE, and then move on to finishing the titanium header pipes for the 2017–2022 CBR250RR.

Since we manufacture a wide variety of items in small batches, every day feels like a series of one-off custom projects.

Handling such a diverse range of small-lot products can be a bit challenging, but it suits me perfectly—especially since I tend to get bored easily. Haha

Looking forward to another great day.

弊社は多品種小ロットで色んなアイテムを製作しているので毎日がワンオフ製作をしている気分になります。

We've got a ZRX1200 race bike rolling into our workshop today!

This beast is campaigned by AUTO BOY J’s in the legendary Taste of Tsukuba race series.

They've asked us to build a one-off exhaust system designed specifically for the Taste of Tsukuba machine.

Now that's the fun part... what kind of pipe will it turn into? Stay tuned! 😄

Just a heads-up—this exhaust won't be part of the Yamamoto Racing lineup.

It'll be an exclusive model available only through AUTO BOY J’s.

We'll show you the prototype as soon as it's ready, so don't miss it!

『Titanium That Gets Better with Every Ride! Watch the Colors Come Alive./ チタンマフラーは走るほど育つ。焼き色の変化も楽しみのひとつ！』

Howdy, folks!

Here are some photos of the 18–CB400SF SPEC-A TI4-1 TYPE-SA along with our Black Radiator Core Guard, which we recently delivered.

The shop was kind enough to send us these photos after everything was installed—cheers for that!

The first photo was taken right after installation. Since the titanium headers have a polished finish, they're shiny as can be and don't yet show that classic titanium look.

By the second and third photos, after just a bit of idling, you can already see the first golden heat colors starting to appear. Now it's beginning to look like proper titanium!

From here on, every ride adds a little more character. As the heat cycles build up, the titanium gradually develops richer blues, golds, and purples, giving your exhaust a one-of-a-kind finish that's uniquely yours.

Sure, titanium exhausts are famous for being lightweight—that's a big performance advantage. But one of the best parts is watching the heat coloring evolve over time. If you're choosing a titanium exhaust, we hope you'll enjoy that transformation just as much as the performance.

Alright then, we're getting back to building more titanium exhausts today!

写真は先日納品した18～CB400SF SPEC-A TI4-1 TYPE-SAとブラックのラジエターコアガードです。

ショップさんから取付け後の写真を送って頂きました。

1枚目の写真は取付け直後です。チタンのバフ仕上げなのでピカピカでチタンパイプらしさはありません。

2枚目と3枚目の写真はアイドリングで少し焼き色がついてチタンパイプらしくなってきました。

これから、走る度にチタンパイプに焼き色がついてイイ感じになっていきますので、焼き色を楽しんで頂ければと思います。

チタン製マフラーは性能に直結する軽さが注目されますが、焼き色の変化も楽しめるのでチタン製マフラーをご購入の際は焼き色の変化も楽しんでいただければと思います。

今日もチタン製マフラーをどんどん製作していきたいと思います。

『The 8BJ-JB06 DAX125 Exhaust Project Is Officially Underway!/ 8BJ-JB06 DAX125マフラー開発、スタート！』

Howdy, folks!

Today, an 8BJ-JB06 DAX125 rolled into our workshop.

We hadn't originally planned to develop an exhaust for this model just yet, but thanks to a request from its owner—comedian No Sign Hokuto—we've officially kicked off the project.

To be honest, we'd been wanting to build one sooner or later anyway, so this was the perfect excuse. Much appreciated!

Here's a funny one: Hokuto actually lives in Shiga Prefecture, but for some reason, he rode all the way to our shop in Mie... by way of Nagoya! 😂 That's some serious dedication.

It'll be a little while before we get there, but once the first prototype is ready, we'll be sure to show you.

Stay tuned—we're looking forward to sharing the progress with y'all!

今日、8BJ-JB06 DAX125がやってきました。

もともと8BJ-JB06 DAX125用マフラーの開発は未定でしたが、車両オーナーであるお笑い芸人のノーサイン北斗くんの依頼で開発をスタートする事になりました。

そのうち開発をしたいと思っていたので助かりました！

実は北斗くんは滋賀県在住なんですが、何故か今日は名古屋経由で三重県まで実走で車両を持ち込んでくれました。笑

少し先になりますが試作品が出来ましたらお見せいたします。
