🔎 Solution Case Study: Hammerless cutting and splicing of conveyor chains in high places and confined spaces.

Replacing the chains in bucket elevators presents challenges in terms of safety and labor costs due to the need for work at heights in the head section and in confined spaces within the tail section pit.
By adopting Screw Lock Link that can be easily cut and joined with just a torque wrench, we were able to drastically reduce the labor, cost, and risk involved in chain replacement work.

【Series: Environmentally Resistant Chain – Part 3】

Need higher maximum allowable load than Stainless Steel Chain SS Series?

Tsubaki’s Stainless Steel Chain HS Series is designed for applications requiring both corrosion resistance and higher maximum allowable load.
The HS Series uses 13Cr stainless steel for pins, bushes, and rollers, and provides 1.8 times the maximum allowable load of SS Series.

Key features:
✅ Higher maximum allowable load than SS Series
✅ Longer life than SS Series, based on Tsubaki test results
✅ Suitable for environments requiring corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, or sanitary performance

Please note: corrosion resistance is slightly lower than SS Series. For constantly wet conditions, check the operating environment carefully before selection.

High corrosion resistance with the Stainless Steel Chain SS Series.

Tsubaki’s Stainless Steel Chain SS Series is made of 18-8 stainless steel and is suitable for corrosive atmospheres such as underwater, acidic, and alkaline environments.

Key features:
✅ High corrosion resistance compared with RS roller chains and RS coated chains
✅ Wide operating temperature range: -20°C to 400°C
✅ For applicable sizes upgraded in October 2022, seamless bushes improve wear life and maximum allowable load compared with the SS Series before the upgrade.

🔎 Solution Case Study: Reduced particle generation and improved safety for collaborative robot traversal sections in clean rooms.

In wafer manufacturing equipment, particles generated by the plastic Cable Carrier (CABLEVEYOR) systems themselves, as well as by the cables and tubing, had been a cause for concern.
Therefore, to address this issue, FLATVEYOR ZP Type was adopted, allowing cables and tubing to be housed within an openable PVC tube.
This not only addresses the particle generation issue of previous models but also improves the manufacturing environment and product yield.
