✨We are pleased to welcome our new intern Martin Diaz Arango from The University of Queensland currently undertaking a Bachelor/Master degree in Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering.

Martin brings strong academic foundation and a high motivation. At Smart Tissues, we believe that with the right mentorship, interns can make significant contributions—not only to our research and technology, but ultimately for the benefit of patients.

📢 Big News: Smart Tissues Selected for Kyoto City Grant!🎉
We’re thrilled to announce that Smart Tissues has been selected as one of only 14 awardees (and the sole startup company) in the 2025 Kyoto Innovative Medical Technology R&D Grant Program!

As the only private company selected, Smart Tissues is grateful for the opportunity to advance our research on antibacterial wound healing membranes using our proprietary biofabrication technology. This recognition strengthens our mission to heal chronic wounds, especially those with no effective treatment, and prevent amputations.
