🏆 EXTREME SHOT ITALIA 2026 – HEAVY CLASS CHAMPIONS! 🇮🇹🎯
A huge congratulations to Kevin and Victoria Bunkum from Cornwall, UK, for winning the Heavy Gun Division at Extreme Shot Italia 2026 using a March 4-40x52 Genesis r***e scope.
What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that Kevin wasn't competing with one of the traditional heavyweight ELR cartridges. Instead, he took on the field with a .33XC (.338 calibre) r***e, a cartridge generally considered more at home in the Light Gun category.
Going head-to-head against competitors shooting the big boomers such as the .375 CheyTac, .416 Barrett, and other cartridges launching 400 to 500+ grain bullets, Kevin's setup fired a comparatively modest 300-grain projectile.
Yet when it mattered most, precision, wind reading, teamwork and confidence in equipment prevailed.
✅ Heavy Class Champions✅ 11 Hits at Extreme Range✅ Winning Score: 70,950✅ Final Distance: 2,600 metres✅ March 4-40x52 Genesis
At extreme long range, where every click, every wind call and every optical advantage counts, the March Genesis delivered the precision and tracking needed to perform at the highest level.
Congratulations once again to Kevin Bunkum and spotter Victoria Bunkum on an outstanding victory and a fantastic demonstration of what can be achieved with skill, determination and world-class optics.

🎯 🇳🇿 March Scopes at the 2026 IPRF Precision R***e World Championship

The 2026 IPRF Centerfire World Championship was recently held at Gravestone Precision Shooting in Texas, USA, bringing together top precision r***e shooters from around the world. For those unfamiliar with IPRF, the International Precision R***e Federation World Championship is a global competition in Precision R***e Shooting (PRS), a dynamic long-range shooting discipline that challenges competitors to engage multiple targets from a variety of shooting positions under strict time limits.

We were proud to see New Zealand 🇳🇿 representative Lawrence Tanner compete on the world stage with his March FX 5-42×56 PRS Edition. The competition presented extremely demanding conditions, including heavy mirage, dust, extreme heat, and constantly shifting winds. After the World Championship, Lawrence shared his experience with us:

“My March FX 5–42×56 PRS Edition performed exceptionally well at the IPRF Worlds, despite the demanding conditions of heavy mirage, dust and extreme heat. The outstanding glass clarity, large, easily marked turrets with precise, positive clicks, and intuitive reticle made the scope a pleasure to use under pressure. Having complete confidence in my optics allowed me to focus on reading the mirage and responding to the constantly shifting winds. After proving itself on the world stage, my March FX 5–42×56 PRS Edition has earned a permanent place on my competition r***e.”

Thank you, Lawrence, for choosing March Scopes and for representing New Zealand on the world stage. We are honored that you trusted the March FX 5-42×56 PRS Edition for such an important competition, and we greatly appreciate you sharing your experience and photos with us. We applaud Lawrence for representing New Zealand on the world stage and wish him continued success in his future matches!

Did you know your March Scope comes with an MD Disk? 👀

It’s Day 2 for the vendors at the USPRA PRS World Championship! The three of us from March Scopes are here today, and we’re looking forward to another great day of meeting shooters and talking about optics.

Here’s a useful tip about an accessory included with your March Scope 👇

Each March scope comes with an MD Disk (Modifier Disk) in the box. When you want even greater depth of field, the MD Disk gives you an additional option. It reduces the effective diameter of the objective lens, similar to stopping down the aperture of a camera. This increases the depth of field, allowing a wider range of distances to appear in focus at the same time. It can also reduce the amount of visible mirage, helping you see the target more clearly in difficult conditions.

Simply attach the MD Disk to the front of the objective lens. If you also want to use a Tenebraex lens cover, the setup is:
Scope → MD Disk → Adapter Ring → Tenebraex Lens Cover. The MD Disk is included with the scope, while the adapter ring and Tenebraex Lens Cover are optional accessories.

Just like stopping down a camera aperture, using the MD Disk also reduces the amount of light entering the scope. For that reason, it is most useful in good lighting conditions and is generally not recommended on dark, overcast days or in other low-light conditions.

It’s a simple accessory that gives March scope users another way to fine-tune their view for different shooting conditions.

Two years. That is what went into this before today. Not two years of planning it. Two years of building it. We spent that time in the UK, in Japan, in Ireland, and on ranges across the United States. In the pits, on the line, and in parking lots after the last relay, where the conversations that act...
