【お茶を淹れることは、人を思うこと】
先日、お客様からこんなお言葉をいただきました。
「試飲でも、すごく丁寧に淹れてくださるんですね。嬉しい。」
何気ない一杯に、そんなふうに感じていただけたことが、私たちにとっても嬉しい出来事でした。
お茶を淹れるということ。
それは、ただ飲み物を用意することではなく、目の前の人を思い、その人のために一杯を整えること。
千利休の茶の湯の教えにある「茶は服のよきように点て」。
相手にとって心地よい一杯を考える、その心にも通じるものがあるように思います。
特別なことではなくても、何気ない所作の中に、人を思いやる気持ちを込めることはできる。
一杯のお茶が、誰かの心を少しでも和らげるものでありますように。
今日も、一杯ずつ丁寧に。

To Brew Tea Is to Care for Others.
The other day, a customer said to us:
“Even for a tea tasting, you prepare the tea with such care. It makes me happy.”
It meant a great deal to us to hear that something so simple could bring someone such a lovely feeling.
To brew a cup of tea is more than simply preparing a drink.
It is a small act of kindness — thinking of the person before you and preparing a cup with care, just for them.
One of the teachings associated with Sen no Rikyū, the great tea master, is to prepare tea in a way that suits the person receiving it.
We believe this reflects the spirit of considering others and making them feel welcome.
Even in the simplest gestures, there is room for kindness and thoughtfulness.
May each cup of tea bring a little warmth and peace to someone’s heart.
One cup at a time, prepared with care.
