Participation in Mangrove Planting Activity by Three Indonesian Plants!
Three NSK plants in Indonesia participated in a mangrove planting activity on November 9th, 2024, as part of the MM2100 Peduli
(MM2100 Care) social contribution program organized by the MM2100 Industrial Town where they are located.
The activity was conducted in Pantai Bahagia Village, Bekasi Regency, West Java, which faces the Java Sea. NSK Bearings
Manufacturing Indonesia [A/J], NSK Warner Indonesia [NWI], and AKS Precision Ball Indonesia [AJB] participated in this initiative.
Located in the coastal area of the Greater Jakarta region, this district plays a vital role in maintaining the ecosystem and preventing
coastal erosion through mangrove forest conservation.
Through MM2100 Peduli, a total of 26,058 mangrove trees have been planted to date with the participation of 39 companies and 135 people.
This initiative aims to protect coastal areas, preserve marine ecosystems, prevent coastal erosion, and improve local air and water quality.

NSK Bearings Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (NBMT) Conducts Tree Planting Activity with 300 Employees!

The NSK Group carries out initiatives tailored to regional characteristics.

On September 6th, 300 NBMT employees participated in a tree planting activity with 125 teachers and students at Ban B**g Toei School in Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. This activity aims to raise employee awareness about global warming prevention and carbon neutrality efforts, while also contributing to the local community.

Ban B**g Toei School is located in one of Thailand's major forest areas and focuses on environmental education. Through this activity, NBMT not only heightened environmental awareness among its employees but also created an opportunity to convey the importance of environmental conservation to students.

After the activity, employees stayed at the nearby Khao Yai National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Experiencing the rich natural environment deepened their understanding of the importance of environmental protection.

NBMT plans to continue this activity annually, deepening ties with the local community while aiming to achieve carbon neutrality.

The NSK Group will continue to engage in biodiversity conservation efforts in various locations.

Practical application of highly accurate bearing life prediction method applying ultrasonic testing*2 improves the basic dynamic load ratings*3 of NSK’s rolling bearings

●Improved basic dynamic load ratings,*3 which are used for estimating the life of rolling bearings, by applying the “Highly Accurate Bearing Life Prediction Method Applying Ultrasonic Testing (World's First)”*2 announced in March 2023
●Up to twice the estimated life due to improved basic dynamic load ratings*3
●Contributes to downsizing and weight reduction of customers' machines by enabling smaller bearing sizes to do the same job
●Reducing bearing torque by replacing bearings with smaller products helps to reduce the energy consumption during the use of the product, thereby reducing CO2 emissions, and helping to build a carbon-neutral world
