YKK's Global Marketing Group partnered with Columbia College Chicago's Fashion Design program to provide students with a real-world design challenge featuring YKK fastening products.

Through this collaboration, students gained valuable hands-on industry experience while exploring innovation and creativity in fashion design. Together, we are investing in education, innovation, and the next generation of industry leaders.

🎉 Celebrating 50 years of YKK Southern Africa

This year marks an important milestone for YKK Southern Africa: 50 years since its establishment in 1976.

To celebrate, commemorative events were held in Durban, South Africa, and Eswatini, bringing together customers, employees, community members and stakeholders who have been part of this remarkable journey.

For five decades, YKK Southern Africa has grown alongside the communities it serves, manufacturing fastening products in Eswatini and supporting customers across Sub-Saharan Africa.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to these 50 years. As we celebrate our history, we also look forward to the future and to continuing to grow together with our customers and communities.
