BUYER BEWARE: Still on SOLAR WATTAGE alterations by local unscrupulous PV solar panel Vendors,this is how you DETECT Fake wattage labels .

As you can see from the fake label,its indicated 600w,thats first red flag. actually This solar panel is 140W (Most Solar Panels here in kenya has Max of 415w)

SO How do you know its 140W? This is how you calculate.

Label 1: Multiply Current by Voltage( I × V = Watts)

Current at Max Power 7.54A
Voltage at Max Power 18.6V

WATTS = 7.54A × 18.6V = 140.244W

Label 2:

Current at Max Power 5.56A
Voltage at Max Power 18V

5.56A× 18V = 100.08W.

NB: ALL SOLAR PANELS HAVE SILVER STICKERS,Anything else is FAKE: NOW YOU KNOW. Be informed always.

FYI : THERE IS NO FAKE PV SOLAR PANEL,CHINA IS THE LEADING Manufacturer of PV Solar Panels,so dont pay attention to Name or origin because anyone can go to china and order names to labelled on the panels,even Big brands get them from China and have their names on it.

BEWARE of solar panel retailers who alter the specifications and give the wrong wattages on Solar Panels. For example a 100w solar panel may be altered and given a sticker of 150w and 100AH Battery is altered to be 200AH. Then you wonder why your solar is so weak and battery dont last with power as expected..

They do this to maximize profit margins but to you,their price is lower than the market price.. .
