Odyssey is built around one thing comfort.
Spacious cabin, smooth ride, excellent road manners and enough room to comfortably carry passengers and luggage.
But with a vehicle of this size, suspension condition becomes even more important.
On Kenyan roads, the relatively low stance of the Odyssey can quickly become a challenge.
Speed bumps.
Potholes.
Uneven roads.
Steep entrances.
And when the coil springs begin to weaken, the ride height can drop even further, leaving the vehicle sitting too close to the ground and reducing its usable suspension travel.
The answer isn't simply to install the hardest springs available.
An Odyssey is a family-oriented vehicle, and comfort matters just as much as clearance.
The right spring should provide additional support and practical ground clearance while maintaining the smooth, stable ride that makes the Odyssey special.
That's where proper suspension selection makes all the difference.
A well-set-up Odyssey should have:
Practical ground clearance
Proper support under passenger and luggage load
Improved ride height
Comfortable ride quality
Stable handling
Correct suspension balance
The goal is not to turn a premium family MPV into a stiff, uncomfortable machine.
The goal is to make it more usable without taking away what makes it an Odyssey.
At Dayu Auto Suspension, we understand that every vehicle has a purpose and the suspension should be designed around that purpose.
HONDA ODYSSEY MORE CLEARANCE, MORE SUPPORT, SAME COMFORT.

DJ5FS is a small car with a lot going for it economical, responsive, refined and particularly impressive with its SKYACTIV-D powertrain.
But there is one thing many DJ5FS owners eventually experience on Kenyan roads:
GROUND CLEARANCE.
The car's naturally low stance can become a challenge when dealing with speed bumps, potholes, rough roads, steep driveways and uneven surfaces.
And once the original coil springs begin to lose their effectiveness, the situation can become even more noticeable.
The solution isn't simply to make the Demio unnecessarily high.
It is about finding the right spring rate and ride height to give the car practical clearance while preserving the comfort and stability that make the Demio such a pleasure to drive.
That is where properly selected high-quality progressive coil springs make a difference.
The suspension can be given the extra support it needs while maintaining a comfortable response over smaller road imperfections and becoming progressively firmer as the load increases.
The result is a Demio that sits at a more practical height, has better clearance for Kenyan roads and still maintains the balanced driving character it was designed for.
Because suspension modification should never be about “lifting a car as high as possible.”
It should be about finding the sweet spot between ground clearance, comfort, stability and suspension geometry.
At Dayu Auto Suspension, that's exactly what we aim for.
Mazda engineering deserves the right suspension setup.
And Kenyan roads demand practical ground clearance.

Fit may be a small car, but its suspension is not something to take lightly.
From the GD, to GE, GK, and the latest GR, Honda has continuously evolved the Fit's suspension to achieve the right balance between comfort, stability, handling and weight.
And behind that balance is one very important component the coil spring.
Spring rate determines how much force is needed to compress the spring. That's why different Fit generations and different applications can have very different spring-rate requirements.
For example, published specifications show rates ranging from around 5–6 kgf/mm on some GD/GE aftermarket applications, to approximately 23–26 N/mm on certain GK OEM references, while some GR aftermarket applications go much higher.
So when a Honda Fit develops low ground clearance, sagging or an uncomfortable ride, simply saying “put stronger springs” is not necessarily the right solution.
The right spring must match the generation, vehicle specification, load and intended use.
That is where proper suspension knowledge makes the difference.
At Dayu Auto Suspension, we understand that GD, GE, GK and GR are not the same car underneath.
Our goal is simple:
Restore the right ride height
Improve practical ground clearance
Maintain comfort
Maintain stability and proper suspension balance
Small car. Serious engineering. And the right spring makes all the difference.

There is something interesting about the Toyota Probox. It may look like one vehicle, but on Kenyan roads, Proboxes serve very different purposes.
Some spend their days carrying families, going to work, shopping and handling normal personal errands. Others are working vehicles transporting goods, carrying stock and spending most of their lives under load.
And that difference matters a lot when choosing coil springs.
A personal-use Probox doesn't necessarily need an extremely stiff suspension. What it needs is a well-balanced spring that gives it good ground clearance while maintaining a comfortable ride, much like the comfort expected from an OEM-type setup.
The result is a Probox that sits at a practical height, handles Kenyan roads better and remains comfortable for everyday driving.
Then there is the commercial Probox the one built to work.
This is where heavy-duty springs become important.
When a vehicle regularly carries substantial loads, ordinary passenger-oriented springs may not provide the support needed to maintain the desired ride height and suspension performance. A properly selected heavy-duty spring gives the vehicle much stronger load support and better resistance to excessive sagging under load.
For demanding applications, we can build a suspension setup capable of handling very substantial working loads but always within the Probox's manufacturer-rated payload and legal limits.
So when it comes to the Probox, the question shouldn't simply be:
“Which spring is the best?”
The better question is:
“What job does your Probox do?”
Because a Probox used for personal transport deserves a different suspension philosophy from one that spends every day carrying commercial loads.
At Dayu Auto Suspension, we understand that difference.
Whether your Probox needs comfort + ground clearance or heavy-duty load support + durability, we have the right suspension solution for the purpose.

We understand one of the most common challenges faced by vehicle owners in Kenya today: worn, weak or unsuitable coil springs.
Many vehicles arrive with relatively low ride heights, while others gradually lose their original height as the coil springs weaken and lose their ability to support the vehicle properly.
And with Kenyan roads having their fair share of deep potholes, rough roads, uneven surfaces and poorly designed speed bumps, inadequate ground clearance can become a daily headache.
You find yourself slowing down excessively, approaching bumps at an angle, or constantly worrying about scraping the underbody of your vehicle.
Looking out for signs such as:
Vehicle sitting lower than normal
Sagging on one side or at the rear/front
Excessive bouncing after hitting bumps
Increased body roll or swaying
Uneven or unstable handling
Suspension noises
Poor stability when carrying passengers or luggage
Frequent scraping on speed bumps and rough roads
Every vehicle has different needs. That's why we provide different coil spring solutions depending on your vehicle, usage and desired ride height.
1️⃣ STANDARD / OEM-HEIGHT SPRINGS
For restoring your vehicle closer to its intended factory ride height.
2️⃣ CUSTOM RIDE-HEIGHT SOLUTIONS (Medium)
For clients looking for a carefully balanced change in ride height while maintaining good comfort and drivability.
3️⃣ HEAVY-DUTY / PERFORMANCE SPRINGS
Designed for vehicles that regularly carry heavier loads and for drivers who need improved load support and stability.
A properly selected spring can help improve ground clearance, stability, load support and overall suspension performance.
We take that responsibility seriously.
Our Ex by lesjofors coil springs are selected for their strength, durability and ability to provide reliable support in demanding driving conditions.
Whether you're dealing with low ground clearance, sagging springs, excessive body movement or poor load support, let us inspect your suspension and give it best

Mk7.5 is one of those cars where the suspension setup is a big part of what makes the driving experience special.
Sharp steering.
Stable cornering.
A planted feel on the road.
And that unmistakable German suspension balance.
But bring the same car onto Kenyan roads and the story can change quickly.
Speed bumps, potholes, rough estate roads, steep entrances and uneven surfaces can expose one major weakness insufficient ground clearance.
This particular Golf came in needing a better suspension balance. The objective wasn't simply to make it taller. We wanted to increase usable ground clearance without destroying the character of the Golf.
That means getting the spring selection right.
Too soft, and the car can feel unsettled under load.
Too stiff, and you sacrifice the comfort that makes the Golf enjoyable.
Too much lift, and you can start affecting suspension geometry and the vehicle's original driving characteristics.
So we went for the sweet spot the right spring, the right ride height and the right amount of support.
The result?
Better practical ground clearance
Improved support under load
More confidence over Kenyan roads
Comfortable ride quality
Stable handling
The Golf's sporty character preserved
This is why suspension work should never be approached as simply "ongeza height."
Every millimetre changes the way a vehicle sits, moves and responds.
At Dayu Auto Suspension, we don't just raise cars we engineer the balance.

Sometimes a vehicle comes into the workshop and you immediately know the suspension needs a serious rethink.
That was the story of this Toyota Harrier.
It arrived fitted with coilovers that had brought the vehicle excessively low. The wheels were almost completely swallowed by the fenders, leaving very little usable ground clearance. For smooth roads and show-car purposes, that stance might look appealing but for everyday Kenyan roads, it was simply impractical.
Speed bumps, potholes, rough estate roads, steep entrances and uneven surfaces would become a constant battle.
The owner wanted a proper solution, but there was one important condition:
Raise it properly without turning it into a completely different car.
That's where our experience came in.
We removed the overly low setup and carefully re-engineered the suspension using properly selected coil springs. The objective was not simply to add height, but to restore a balanced ride height that provides practical ground clearance while maintaining the Harrier's comfort, stability and premium driving character.
And the before-and-after photos tell the story.
The wheels are no longer buried inside the fenders.
A healthy fender gap has been restored.
Ground clearance is now practical for Kenyan roads.
Suspension support has improved.
And most importantly, comfort and stability were maintained.
The owner left the workshop a genuinely happy client.
This is why we always say:
A good suspension setup is not about how low or how high a car can go. It's about finding the height where the vehicle works best.
Another Harrier transformed. Another suspension problem solved. Another happy client driving away with confidence.

Some cars are designed around practicality. Others are designed around the driver's experience. The Subaru Impreza GT manages to bring both together.
With Subaru's symmetrical AWD system, low center of gravity and well-controlled suspension, the Impreza feels planted and predictable on the road. But when a car designed for Japanese roads meets Kenyan speed bumps, rough estate roads and uneven surfaces, ground clearance can become a very real concern.
This particular Impreza GT came to us with one clear objective:
Improve the ground clearance without compromising the car's handling, comfort or Subaru character.
That's not simply a matter of adding taller springs.
The Impreza's suspension works as a complete system coil springs, shock absorbers, control arms, alignment angles, tyres and chassis geometry all interact. Raising the ride height excessively can alter suspension angles and alignment, which is why controlled spring selection matters.
We carefully selected properly matched coil springs and achieved a practical increase in ride height while keeping the suspension balanced.
The result was impressive.
The Impreza now has a healthier fender gap.
Ground clearance is much more practical for Kenyan roads.
The suspension feels properly supported.
Comfort remains intact.
And the vehicle retains its planted AWD character.
The objective was never to make the Impreza look like an SUV.
It was to make it more usable on the roads it actually drives on.
That's our approach at Dayu Auto Suspension:
Correct the problem. Respect the engineering. Preserve the character.
Another Subaru successfully adjusted and another owner leaving with greater confidence behind the wheel.

Sometimes you don't need many words to explain a suspension transformation the before-and-after photo tells the story.
This Honda Shuttle came to us with one major concern: low ground clearance.
The owner had reached the point where speed bumps, rough sections, steep entrances and uneven estate roads required too much caution. The car was sitting lower than desired, and the limited clearance was affecting the confidence of everyday driving.
Our job was simple: improve the ride height without compromising the qualities that make the Honda Shuttle such a great car.
We carefully selected and installed properly matched coil springs, giving the Shuttle a practical increase in ground clearance while maintaining its comfort, stability and balanced driving characteristics.
And the result?
Just look at the difference.
The fender gap is healthier.
The ride height is properly restored.
Ground clearance is noticeably improved.
The car remains comfortable and stable.
And most importantly, the Shuttle still retains its clean, original character.
This is exactly why we always insist that suspension work is not simply about making a car higher.
It's about finding the correct balance between ride height, spring rate, comfort, stability and suspension geometry.
Another Honda Shuttle successfully adjusted for the realities of Kenyan roads.
The photo says the rest.

Some cars don't need an introduction in Kenya.
The Toyota Mark II Grande is one of those machines. Known for its smooth ride, solid build, rear-wheel-drive character and unmistakable Toyota comfort, it has remained a respected choice among motorists who appreciate a proper sedan.
But even a legendary car eventually needs suspension attention.
This particular Mark II Grande came to us with a familiar challenge reduced ground clearance and tired suspension support. Years of carrying passengers, luggage and dealing with Kenyan roads had taken their toll on the coil springs.
The owner wanted more clearance, but there was one important condition:
Don't destroy the comfort.
That's where proper spring selection comes in.
We carefully assessed the suspension and installed properly matched coil springs designed to restore ride height while maintaining the vehicle's comfort, stability and suspension geometry.
The transformation was immediately noticeable.
The Mark II regained a healthy fender gap.
Ground clearance improved.
The suspension became better supported.
Body movement became more controlled.
And that smooth Grande ride remained intact.
We didn't turn this sedan into an SUV.
We simply gave it enough clearance to confidently deal with Kenyan speed bumps, rough roads and uneven surfaces while preserving the elegant stance that makes the Mark II Grande special.
That's our philosophy at Dayu Auto Suspension:
The best suspension upgrade is not necessarily the biggest lift it's the right balance between clearance, comfort, stability and the vehicle's original character.
Another classic Toyota, properly set up for today's Kenyan roads.
