Previously, we introduced our Clean Cooking as a Service (CCaS) model, today, we share how it actually works.

Our revenue model is designed around one priority: ensuring that every household, regardless of income, can access clean and affordable cooking energy.

Through CCaS, families receive a clean cooking starter kit on a subscription basis, removing the high upfront costs that often prevent low-income households from transitioning to clean cooking solutions.

But accessibility is only one part of the story.

To strengthen local ownership, we have partnered with 35 influential women leaders across underserved communities. These women serve as our Community Distribution Agents, educating households, facilitating subscriptions, and earning commissions for every cylinder enrolled.

This approach allows us to scale sustainably while ensuring women remain at the center of the energy value chain. Every refill sold not only powers a household but also uplifts a woman, strengthens community resilience, and advances public health outcomes.

We started back in 2022 with only the science know-how of producing cooking gas, and lived experiences .

It was a challenge getting into a market already dominated by imported gas, no regulations or guiding criteria on production of gas locally.

It did not just take us to crack our brains on how we would navigate this but also included help from our users who helped us co- design our flagship distribution model CLEAN COOKING AS A SERVICE (CCAS).
