Since August 2023, when we were honored to be selected among the top 20 startups in Africa for the SolarX Accelerator, we’ve made remarkable progress. Our mission remains clear....empowering small-scale fisherfolk with access to reliable cold storage. Since then, we’ve not only enhanced our lease-to-own freezer model but also expanded into Cooling-as-a-Service and market linkages through our solar-powered cold storage hubs. Grateful to the International Solar Alliance and all our partners and funders for their unwavering support.

EcoHeat provides solar-powered and mobile cooking solutions tailored for smokies street vendors who rely on charcoal. Since its launch in January, the product has gained momentum, with many young entrepreneurs benefiting from a transition to cleaner, more sustainable cooking methods.
We are pleased to witness the positive impact on both their working environments and their income.
We assist vendors with older trolleys by refurbishing them and transitioning them to solar power. For those without access to trolleys, we offer assistance in securing financing for them.
