IN CELEBRATING A DECADE OF EXISTANCE OF FOURSONS HOLDINGS K LTD
I greet all distinguish followers, our potential clients and partners.
Anniversaries are the opportunities to recollect our year gone memories and to cherish them again.
This year we are celebrating our company’s 10th anniversary and I value you all who are sharing this special year with me. It is rightly said that it doesn’t matter where you go in your life, but what matters the most is whom you have beside you all the way. It’s a pleasure for me to invite you all to the milestone dinner of FOURSONS HOLDINGS (K) LTD that will take place in Nairobi towards the end of the year 2024 in celebration of our 10th anniversary.
2014 was a notable year for us for many reasons. I initiated this organization with the blessings of my wife Madam Zilpah Audline and one more dear friend from Luhia Land. It’s due to their blessings that we have expanded our organization to this extent that we are celebrating 10 years of its commencement.
From a small cyber in Rongo Town, My first task was to paint a picture of where I wanted to take my business. It was dark still. Rongo constituency had just acquired its district status from the larger Migori district in 2009 from where we drew small scale supply businesses for over 5 years. The county government just cropped up 2 years back and business was no so clearly defined in those corridors. Nevertheless, i had to position my business well for any eventuality. By 2014, we were only two employees.
You may have wondered what exactly does FOURSONS HOLDINGS K LTD do. Yes, we are identified more in construction however, over the years, we have been engaged in supplies of various items from Non-Pharmaceuticals, Medical equipment, cleaning materials, hardware materials, dry food, electrical items, stationery, tonners, water treatment chemical to sports materials.
2022 was a great year for us because it had mixed signals ahead. A major business shakeup was looming. Jungling between political regimes is always tricky for business as new regimes always paints a picture not of professional engagement but that of political loyalty to the outgoing regime. In kenya its a big problem in making.
I was ready for the challenge. Strategically placed for any eventuality. Our eyes were all out eying new markets and making new partners. We had to relocate our head office from Migori county to Nairobi, Kenya in line with our expansion strategy. This led to new opportunities in transport logistics both locally and within East Africa (TRANSIT GOODS). Clearing and forwarding of cargo in Kenya, provision of HEAVY CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT for HIRE and the start of property/ real estate segment.
Our organization started with the incorporation of core human values, such as Trust, Integrity, and Teamwork. I have always tried my level best to offer my employees with better business, flexible work culture and perfect learning atmosphere.
These 10 years can be defined as a kaleidoscope of happy and best memories of my life, new friendship and relationships. I have found my new friends in terms of my employees who have worked day and night to make this company. Over the last ten years, this business has undergone massive changes like restructuring, globalization vision and acquisition of new partners. We have since become stronger and efficient than ever before. I have had my employees who were, are and will always be my intellectual assets that have always stood by my side. I am blessed to have such a fantastic team of dedicated and loyal employees.
What I have learned in these 10 years is that the businesses and employees know what they need and want and they are willing to tell only if the owner listens. This is the change I brought in my personality. I started listening hard to my business and employees; I started getting engaged in conversations for learning and possibility and find new ways of solving problems. Of course, there have been so many paths that were slightly difficult for me but regular consultations with my employees helped me a lot in those odd stumbling blocks. This is all because of constant support and blessings that have made this journey possible.
In this auspicious year, I promise all my employees to be friendly and supportive to them as I have been in these past years. I promise to help all whenever necessary.
Let’s look forward to another amazing year with strong professional relationships even further and to take this company to reach greater heights. As we all take time to express gratitude and to celebrate these fantastic 10 years gone by, let’s turn eagerly to the years that lie ahead.
